While I’ve used them before successfully, they couldn’t do what I needed to be done as they couldn’t remove the knob. They were accommodating with scheduling.

It was ok but they were pretty expensive. My garbage disposal was clogged so they fixed that. I was not getting water in my refrigerator dispenser. They tried something but it didn’t solve the problem. They said an appliance person would need to look at it. The services are good but they are very expensive.

The service went fine. The technician did exactly what the deal stated and also gave me a bid on removing the existing heating system, as well as replacing it. I ended up going with a different vendor for the service, however. The technician was very straight forward and honest. He did not try to upsell me. He did a nice job with the tune up and it was very easy to schedule their service.

Jamie came. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained what he would be doing, answered my questions as the inspection proceeded, and informed me on what I can do to keep the unit working properly for the long term. Because of Jamie's manner, I decided to continue with Stewart Heating and Air for all future maintenance and possible problem solving. The company who installed the heating and air conditioning unit a year ago (Walnut Creek Heating and Air) failed to vent to the outside, and failed the electrical inspection as well. I did not want to work with them again, and am glad to have found Stewart Heating and Air Conditioning. Thank you Jamie. Thank you Angie's List for offering me a great deal.

He told me he could not tune up my air conditioning unit because of the trellis that surrounded it. The trellis is very common and I've even had my air conditioning unit tuned up before by other service providers. I had contacted him afterwards regarding a refund for my big deal and the service provider never even responded.

They removed the existing faucet and installed the one I purchased. They even disposed of the old faucet for me. We discussed having them providing the faucet for me but from our discussion, it was cheaper and more advantages for me to purchase my own faucet. I just made sure in our discussion that the one I purchased would fit in the existing setup - and it did. I gave them a B on responsiveness because they had to reschedule my appointment. They had to attend to an emergency and I was fine with the postponement. It maybe nitpicking but I think it is reasonable for the selection. Since the price of $99 dollars is a promotion, I have no real feel for their actual costs. I will have to check out other reviews to get a sense. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience.

They fixed the shower and the sink in our bathroom. It went okay.

He was perfect! He did a great job for me. Saved us a lot of money and made things much easier for us. He did everything very quick for us.

Went well. Finished on time allowed. Wanted $150.00 per hour for extra time if needed. That is to much.

The service tech was very polite but since he said that my system was leaking gas, and told me I needed a new system ($13000 for two heaters) I called another company for a second opinion (another company on Angie's List as well as superior marks on Yelp). Turns out the was NOTHING WRONG with the heater. No gas leaks, at all. How is this possible that they are on Angie's List? Thought there was supposed to be some due diligence checklist before placing them on her list. Maybe it was that the technician was new but I was very disappointed. On the other hand, the other company was very honest and didn't try to sell me anything. Maybe Yelp is more reliable!

Appointment was prompt - initially to check & adjust system. Technician showed up on time Very professional, polite & courteous. System wouldn't turn on and examination showed that either an expensive repair or new system (old system was about 15 yrs old) was needed. Repair of old system (given its age) didn't seem practical. Installation of new completed (Bryant) promptly and system has performed without flaw ever since. New thermostat seemed pretty complicated so a new simpler one was put in at provider's suggestion. Never welcome a major expense but Stewart made it less painful and offered a manageable payment program I have full confidence that the job was professionally done and that it will prove to provide tip top service.

They did a routine service which we were satisfied with. They did try to sell us a new unit. They were also easy to schedule with and showed up on time.

Once the problem was found. Work was done very professionally and in a timely manner. All problems and work completed was explained to me in full details.

The serviceman was very responsive, professional and informative. Although this was a relatively small job he did a good job.

It worked out perfectly! Scheduling was fine and quite easy. They determined that the motor had burnt out.

Technician Jamie came to perform the tune-up of our air conditioning system and replaced thermostat. He was punctual, friendly and competent. When we found out after a couple of days that the new thermostat was inefficient, he replaced it with a different brand that is now working just fine.

The service work went well. I was having a problem with one unit. I received a 5 part estimate with different quality of repairs. I don't want an estimate suggesting that the repair might only last 6 months. This might work for some people but it turned me off.

Found the problem quickly, which is going to take an electrician to confirm and permanently resolve, but still took the time to double-check the whole system and make sure everything else was actually working properly. Very helpful and easy to work with.

It was easy to set up an appointment. The price was very reasonable. I would use this company again.

Not so good. Started out good, they came and installed it while I was at work. However, since then I've had to be home four different times trying to get it to work. first time, loose bolt so it was vibrating on the unit. Second time, house not getting cooler, another person had to come, found a leak, fixed. Still not getting cool in the house. He comes out again, spends over an hour. now says that there is a problem with the coils in the attic. have to schedule ANOTHER appointment, now, the next guy is here. Still here. Spent two hours fixing another "leak" can't find anything else. They may have to "move the duck work to be able to get the coils placed right. I feel like I'm getting the run around. The guy today said he was not told what the problem was but to just come and review and fix. I'm usually not one to complain, but this is getting extremely frustrating. the people in general have been nice, but I have lost trust that they know what they are doing. Oh, and they left someone else's paperwork here at my house when they installed the unit the first time. WISH ME LUCK and THAT IT IS WORKING! As I've said the people have been very nice, he thinks he got it, he is checking back in 30 min. to see if the temp is going down.

The A/c technician showed up as promised on time, actually he was early which is fine. He did the tune-up, took pictures and showed me what needed to be done in the near future to preserve the A/C unit. Then he came inside measured and cleaned each vent in the house making sure that the correct volume of air is coming through each vent. This is where I was overwhelmed with the great service, he changed out the filter without charge, cleaned the return vent, climbed into the attic and checked the heating system for leaks, took pictures or the furnace, attic and ducts. Sat down with me and showed me everything that he took pictures of, let me know what it will take to fix everything that needs fixing and how much it will cost in writing. The plumbers showed early as well, after I showed them where the leaks were in the house they jumped right in and went to work with one replacing the faucet in the kitchen and the other working on the shower in the Master bedroom. The sink faucet had old hoses which were replaced along with the faucet at no additional charge. Caulking the new sink and other vulnerable areas around the kitchen where leaks could possibly take place sooner or later. While the shower was a bigger challenge in that the screw was stripped by the person who installed it. He gave me several choices to make the repair and even volunteered to look at several specialty shops in the Oakland area to find the goal trimming that we currently have, which was a special order. He did search on his own as did we and neither of us could find it, but the fact that Stewart looked without charge spoke volumes and it is the reason that I have chosen to update my review in favor of Stewart A/C and Plumbing. We will be using them to install the new sensor on the A/C unit, tape the gaps on the furnace and install new insulation in our attic.
