Ramon Rosas Professional Landscaping Maintenance

Perfect. Ramon Rosas and his team were punctual and professional. The work was done in a single day, as per our agreement, and included clean up of the site. They left our previously weed-tangled property looking a thousand times better.

Ramon is very well versed in all aspects of yard and garden care. He was very price competitive, punctual, professional and his work yielded excellent results. I have used other garden professionals for similar jobs but Ramon was really superior in all aspects. I plan on hiring Ramon for future jobs as I have rental homes as well. I highly recommend Ramon for all garden and landscape work.

I found Ramon Rosas on Angie's List when I was looking for a landscaper to landscape my yard. He called me promptly when I contacted him. He came out and gave me an estimate right away. He listened to what I wanted and gave me some excellent suggestions. He is very professional and courteous. He and his crew were always very punctual and pleasant to work with. I am absolutely delighted with the work they have done. They installed an automatic watering system which works very well. They did an excellent job of preparing the soil and planting the plants. Ramon always made sure that I was happy with the plants he brought to my house before he planted them. He is very knowledgeable about plants. I think that the price he charged is quite reasonable when I compare it with other estimates I have obtained for the work I wanted to have done. I have so much confidence in Ramon that I have hired him to do the ongoing maintenance of my yard. I would not hesitate to contract with him again for future landscaping needs and would strongly recommend him to others. I am really looking forward to enjoying my new yard. I trust Ramon to keep it looking beautiful.

I searched Angie's List immediately and found Ramon's rating which was excellent, and he was fairly local. I called him immediately thinking I would get a message machine, but instead I woke Ramon up, and I felt terrible, but he was very kind. Ramon agreed to come to my home asap, and he did. As a single woman I have been blessed with a wonderful family of neighbors that have done some repairs for me around my house, but when Ramon arrived I learned that I do not have a landscape shut off which should have been installed when the landscaping was done several years ago by my neighbors (I looked and did not find one prior to Ramon arriving), Ramon also looked and did not find one, so he shut off the house main supply and he will be contracted to come back out and install a shut off on the landscape piping (he made it sound so easy, and not a big deal). Ramon surveyed the area, looked at the valves and spotted the problem immediately, the valve was worn out, and he came prepared with a new one, and a spare to replace another that could go at any time! I was thrilled, and in short order all was well. I will definitely call on Ramon to help me dig out a huge walnut trunk that just will not go away, transplant two magnolia trees, and dig out two other stumps on my property (a cherry and another unidentified tree that I cut down last year) and replace them with a new baby cherry tree, a nectarine, lemon, and two avocado trees. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RAMON! He was punctual, fair, respectful, and kind (don't know if I would have been so nice at that early hour)! If you have any doubts, don't! I am a skeptical person after being burned repeatedly on various repairs, and I am very grateful to Ramon! I found a gem!

It was a rental property and the tenants had told me that some spots were browning. I contacted Ramon and he called me back within 30 minutes on a Saturday. He was able to get in touch with my tenants and schedule a time within 24 hours. All I told him was that they said the lawn is dying, figure out what is going on and fix it. He went out and looked at the property and figured out that the reason it was dying was that the original person that I had hired to put it in hadn't designed it properly and they were using the wrong sprinkler popup heads that weren't getting water in the right places. So he was able to add to the existing sprinkling system I had to get it to work properly. I called him on Saturday and he went and looked at the property and got me a quote by Monday on what it was going to cost. He came back that Friday and did the job in one day. My tenants said he was very courteous and professional and he cleaned up after himself. It was very good. I have since hired him to come out and do the weekly lawn service. He will be doing lawn care and maintenance, shrub trimming, edging, fertilizing.

Last fall areas of my lawn started dying and no amount of fertilizer or crab grass treatment seemed to work. This spring I finally decided to go to an expert and attempted to have one of those big name companies come out to diagnose the problem. After being told it was their and quot;busy seasonand quot; and that it might me aand quot; long time before they could make it out to inspect,and quot; I turned to Angie's List and found Ramon. He showed up the same day I called to take a look and found I had a grub problem. He immediately put down the first application. I asked him to also take care of a sprinkler problem and prune some trees. He was efficient, honest and did a great job cleaning up the work. I was so happy I'm going to have him handle a much bigger job. My lawn is looking fantastic. Ramon is very hard working and professional!

I would not recommend someone who doesn't show up or at least call to reschedule.

Overall I am very happy with his work. He was very polite and actually cleaned up after himself. He even asked me to move my car (because he noticed before I did) so the rocks and dirt that were popping up while he was digging wouldn't hit and damage my car. He was very friendly, accepted my offering of water and didn't seem annoyed at me for chatting with him. I didn't feel ripped off or taken advantage of and that doesn't happen often when looking for this type of work to be done. I told him I would call him again to do more work in the future and I absolutely meant it. Every day when I walk out my front door I think to myself, and quot;I really need to set up an appointment with Ramon againand quot;. I am hoping to be able to get the time soon to call him and get this ugly yard looking good. I am sure my neighbors would appreciate it. You don't find honesty and politeness like this too often these days. I absolutely would recommend Ramon for any job you need. Call someone for an estimate and then call Ramon for his estimate. He is very courteous and friendly, he is also reliable and we like him a lot. The guys he uses are great as well.

When my plants were infected with white flies again and their leaves started to turn brown, I called Ramon because I thought they needed to be fertilized. He returned my call the next day and came over in one hour to check up my plants.He explained to me what I needed to do with my plants, and told me which ones needed to be replaced. They needed just more water, so he told how often to water them.He is coming back this Wednesday to replace the dead plants.He was very professional and you can tell he knows his work.

It's a good experience working with Ramon. He is professional and easy to work with. As a rental property owner, I need someone to help me to do this work without having me go to the property. I've never met him before he gave an estimate and finished the work. He only knew I'm an Angie's list member. His trust is very appreciated. He understood very well the situation between a landlord and a tenant. I also have other people who went to the property for an estimate, but didn't ask me questions about what needed to be done, only listened to the tenant. Ramon makes things much easier.

He was alright. It was a positive experience. He just didn't have the days available I needed.

Mr. Rosas was prompt to reply to my call and came out the next day to give me an estimate. His price was very reasonable! On the day he arrived, he immediately set to work and within 3 hours had my place looking amazing! He trimmed a large tree/bush in my backyard and not only cleaned up the trimmings but the whole backyard! Unfortunately I live in a townhome so have no need for weekly/monthly maintenance, but if I did, I would not hesitate to contact Mr. Rosas. Even though my job was a small one, I was treated no differently than more regular client. He is honest, hardworking and very kind. I would highly recommend him!

I tried the email button and got no response, so I tried the first phone number (in bold on this listing). That number was not in service, so I tried the next number and left a message for Ramon. He called back the same day, and I asked him if he could make an estimate on my mom's house in Martinez. He drove over there the same day, called me back with an estimate, and we agreed on 3pm the following day. He asked if he could use our extension ladder because his was packed away (I did not realize this at the time, but he told me later he was on vacation that week). He showed up right on time, cleaned out the gutters, put away the ladder, and swept up the mess. He pointed out a damaged downspout and recommended that we get that fixed before the next rain. Overall, I was very pleased with his service and I look forward to hiring him in the future. He has already made an estimate on a big task at that house: cutting back a jungle of shrubbery in the backyard. His estimate seems quite reasonable given the scope of the job, and I look forward to having it done. I pay $80 a month. The guy is reliable, comes on time, comes when he is supposed to and does what he is supposed to do. He is always there and I have never had a problem.

We found them on Angie's List. We paid the gardener about $350. We are in a mobile home community. We had him do some clean up for the units. There was nothing in particular, but he did fine work. We would recommend him. He responded to us pretty quickly.

Overall my experience was very positive. I called Ramon Rosas about coming over and giving me an estimate on lawn service for the front and back yards. We made an appointment for him to come right over. Ramon looked over the front and back yards, he checked out the sprinkler control box in the garage, as well as both boxes that contain the sprinkler valves in the front and back yards. Ramon concluded that both valves might need to be replaced. We discussed that the grass in the back really needed to be replaced. We also discussed that my three trees in the front and side of the house needed trimming and that he could also provide that service. I recalled from the profile that Ramon also provided handyman services, we spoke about this and I indicated that I would need that type of service within the landscape and that would be able work on other projects in the yard such as repairing the gate, replacing the mailbox, outside lighting, etc. Once Ramon finished his overall assessment he quoted a price for weekly and monthly lawn service for the front and back yards which I agreed to service for twice a month. The estiamte includes cutting the front and back lawns, weeding, repairing/replacing sprinklers as needed, trimming shrubs, and fertilizing. He also gave me additional estimates for trimming the trees, replacing the back lawn with sod, repairing the busted sprinkler system pipe along the back fence, and replacing the sprinkler valves in the front and back yards. Ramon also was very easy to speak to and had a pleasant personality. Once I agreed to Ramon's fee for the monthly lawn service I was very impressed when he repaired several of my broken sprinkler heads in the front lawn on the spot. Subsequently, I did call Ramon on the telephone to inform him that I was not ready to commit to the tree trimming service or replacing the sod in the back yard just yet and would let him know when I was ready. At this time I have only agreed to the front and back yards monthly lawn service; and informed Ramon that I would let him know when I was ready to proceed with the other projects. I am pleased so far, and think Ramon was very responsive, punctual, and professional, and I look forward to continuing to use his lawn service.

They come and do the work quickly and efficiently. They are very helpful when I ask them to do anything extra for me.

I didn't actually use his services in the end, but had a few estimates and I believe his rate was competitive.

I have been told by visitors several times that I have the nicest yard on the block. He has never missed except when bad weather caused a 1 day delay. Ramon or his guy even put out the green wasie for pickup without being asked. He shows great pride in his work.

They did ok. There were no big problems with their work.

I pay them monthly and it is cheap. I've talked to others and they charge a lot more; sometimes four times more.
