Description of Work: Installed new 50 amp 240 volt socket and circuit breaker connection for my electrical car. Included all parts and new line for 50 amp circuit. Very professional done. Efficient. I could have had it done cheaper but you pay for what you get. I would use him again if needed.

Description of Work: Darren rewired a subpanel from 240V to 120V to resolve an underground cable fault. Completed work in 30 minutes. Very neat and professional work. (Fixing the underground cable was not feasible and running a new line to the subpanel would have cost $5,000.

Description of Work: He changed out light switch covers for us and put dimmer switches where there shouldn't be dimmers. We had lights that wouldn't turn off at all and we had lights that would flicker consistently. We had him come another time after the napa earthquake. We had severed electrical wires in our main box. He told us that PG & E needed to come fix the wiring but they wouldn't come for at least a week or longer so he would make a temporary fix for us in the meantime. He left for about a half hour because he needed to stop at a hardware store to pick up the items he would need to make the fix and while he was gone we called PG & E. They said they would be at our house to fix the issue within the hour. We called Darrin back to let him know what we would not need him to make the temporary fix. We could not reach him on any phone number provided, or via text. We then realized, about 20 minutes after trying to reach him, that he had come back to our house and proceeded to fix the issue without telling us he had come back. And, he parked his vehicle towards the side of our house so it was out of sight. It's as though he knew we didn't need him to make the fix but he did so anyway so we'd have to pay him. We did end up paying him and when PG & E came to the house they said he did a really bad job and it could have been an extra liability for us if something had gone wrong. We'd never use his again. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: Installed new and fixed electricals for pool pump. We found our permanent electrician. Darren is very professional and work is great. We are hiring him again for future work.

Description of Work: Darren was great. He was always very prompt to communicate, was able to schedule both the estimate and work shortly after we contacted him, and was always very punctual. He worked quickly to install six new circuits in our kitchen, finishing the work several hours sooner than estimated. We're very happy with the work and with the service, and will be emailing him again next time we need electrical work.

Description of Work: Darren was awesome. Showed up early, as promised, and got right to an estimate. We had him back out a few days later, and again he showed up early, and got right to work installing a vehicle charger in the garage, and a separate circuit for a ceiling fan in our bedroom. After he left I noticed one of our wall of outlets in the kitchen was no longer working, so I contacted him and he gave me some suggestions to try and fix it. None worked so he cane back out the next day and took a look. I had somehow managed to solve the wall of outlet problems and could not contact him in time to save him the trip back to my place. But once he got there he took another look at the breaker box out of courtesy. He actually found a few loose connections and tightened them up for us. Great guy, and would absolutely hire him again!

Description of Work: They told me what was wrong and remedied the situation and I am more aware of the wiring in my house and will go about correcting the situation.

Description of Work: Darren arrived early prepared to do whatever the job might entail. He provided several suggestions which we really appreciated and helped us decide on the best option for our needs. We would definitely call him again for any future electrical problems.

Description of Work: Darren came out to repair a bunch of items that I had on my list. He repaired some exposed wiring inside the garage that went to some outlets that were incorrectly installed a few years ago. He changed out my breaker panel, installed a new disconnect for my a/c unit, Removed the wiring that went to my inground pool which is no longer there, changed out 7 light fixtures inside the house and installed 2 ceiling fans. He basically went through the entire house and repaired everything that was unsafe.

Description of Work: I called Darren for some electrical upgrades in the house. He was able to come out right away and give me the estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and he was very informative. We set the appointment for today and he was here right on time! He is very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. He finished the work as promised and it's better than I imagined. I love it!
