Description of Work: Installed conduit line and electrical boxes for my outside fountains. this is the second time I used Brian Klicker. He is available within a reasonable time frame and his work is excellent. He is professional and personable.

Description of Work: Darren showed up promptly. He assesed the area where I needed an outdoor electrical line installed. He came up with a workable solution and istalled the outlet and wired it to an electric panel.

Description of Work: Darren did several jobs in my new house to fix things that had been driving me crazy: He split up several banks of lights that were all on one switch, putting them on individual switches and saving me lots of money. He installed two electrical plugs outside, and a motion sensing flood light in my back yard. He was very professional and courteous. I will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: I had Darren put in light timers, door bell, and a remote for a ceiling fan. I was given the impression that the remote would change direction but it does not. The light timer switch plates don't line up nor does the door bell. There are gaps around the edges. |He was on time and courteous.

Description of Work: Darren was very unresponsive. He responds ONLY by email and refuses to return telephone calls. He unilaterally set an appointment date, which I informed him was unacceptable. He did not set another date. I waited over two weeks for him and then ended up with nothing...no calls, no bid and no work done.

Description of Work: Needed emergency electrician when certain outlets in kitchen stopped working and no circuit-breaker had tripped. Darren responded within 2 hours of my sending email and knocked on front door at precisely the time he said he would arrive. Instead of the huge and expensive project I was afraid of, Darren checked the circuit-breakers, opened the entire panel (which I was not about to attempt!), and said "aha you have a lose wire!" Only that? Yep. Tightened the wire, gave me a discount, shook hands and said he hoped all his jobs were that easy! Very satisfied.

Description of Work: Darren Kicker installed 38 electrical outlets in my house, and 3 overhead light boxes. He also installed 5 hanging light fixtures for me at the same time. | |Darren is a total professional. He was very responsive in providing an accurate estimate - the final invoice was exactly the same amount. Darren scheduled the work at a time convenient for me, and showed up promptly to do the work on the scheduled day. He had all the tools, materials, and equipment needed to do the job right the first time in one visit (believe me, some don't). He was polite, clean, and thoughtful to protect all work areas from dust or collateral damage. He picked up all his trash, packaging, and extra materials at the end of the job. Darren also provided references for a sheet rock patching and texture contractor, which worked out great. | |I would hire Darren again without any reservations, and I highly recommend him for his skill, work ethic, and professionalism. He is the kind of contractor you hope for, but don't often get.

Description of Work: He had to trouble shoot what was causing a circuit breaker to stay off and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He installed a new outlet in the garage and ran conduit from the source. Very neat and professional job.

Description of Work: The main circuit box was broken and he had to find the parts to fix it and then install them. He had a lot of looking to do to find the parts and was very diligent about it. Installed them quickly and got us up and going again.

Description of Work: Darren Kicker's Affordable and Reliable Electrical came out about 6 months ago and installed a fan and light combination.

Description of Work: We purchased an art deco fixture for our dining room with a ceiling height of about 20 feet. Darren came out, gave us a price and was there the next day to install the fixture. It looks great and Darren was early for both the assessment and the job. He had the proper tools and was in and out in about an hour. The price seemed a little hight but after having several companies over who never called back or wanted the job, Darren was just what we needed. I'd recommend him to anyone and we'll use him again.

Description of Work: I had Darren perform some electrical repair for me at a condo. He also came to inspect a new property I was looking to purchase to give me an idea of what needed to be done there. He was always on time, very knowledgeable, and did a great job at a fair rate. I will def use him again.
