Called for a bid 6/2. Spoke with Mike. He sounded like he really knew the tree business and said he could come out on Saturday and give us a bid. He said he’d call Saturday morning to firm up a time. He called Saturday morning and came out a few hours later. We discussed what I was trying to accomplish and he had several suggestions that all made sense. We agreed on a price and he said they were booked for about a week and he’d call me back in a few days to schedule. He called back on Monday and said some time in their schedule had opened up and they could do my job Wednesday morning. I agreed. He said his son Sam would be there with the crew. Around 8am Wednesday morning Sam and a crew of about 6 men showed up with three trucks worth of equipment, one being a really large cherry picker. Mike had briefed his son Sam and we walked to each tree and confirmed what was to be accomplished. Sam also had some good suggestions. Thereafter they fanned out and got to work. in about 4 hours it was all done. Mike came back and we walked around to make sure I was satisfied with the resulting product. I was more than satisfied as not only did they do everything I asked, but also cleaned up with great concern and detail. Considering the number of workers, the equipment and the tasks, when they left it was as if nothing happened other than improving the look and health of the trees.
Description of Work: Remove one small tree. Trim five trees (2 olive, 1 pine, 1 oak and 1 redwood).
