+ 0 moreThe service was impeccable. Embarrassingly, we had not had our neutral colored wool carpets cleaned in 12 years. Stubborn stains that I had tried to remove with a portable carpet shampoo/vacuumer disappeared. He was very polite, agreeable, and obviously knew what he was doing, working around our piles of electronics/cords, lots of furniture, etc. Best of all, there was no chemical smell....I am very allergic and sensitive to chemicals. All I could smell was a moist wool smell, and the carpets dried quite quickly. Even the area rugs seemed more vibrant in color. The price was very reasonable! I would definitely use this company again.

+ -1 moreWe emailed back and forth to get an estimate. The estimate was $215 and we were set for a Saturday at 3:30. I asked to be called early if there was a cancellation. There was a cancellation and the guy came at 12:00. He was polite and professional. He worked hard to remove the stains. 3 years is too long between cleanings folks! Then, he surprised me by only charging $195. That's pretty rare. Also, they were terrific about answering Angie list emails, which I can't say for a few providers.

+ -1 moreThe dispatcher is great. The guys that came to my house were knowledgeable, professional and clean. They pulled up the carpet to treat the pad, treat the back side of the carpet, cleaned and treated the carpet. Two weeks later, they came back to treat the carpet again (at no additional cost). I am very happy with the service. My only issue is that and quot;they don't want to work on Saturday'sand quot;. I work during the week and Saturday services are a must. I liked them a lot, but need to rely on Saturday service.

+ -1 moreThe dispatcher returned my call quickly and made an appointment on very short notice. The two gentlemen were on time, polite and neat. My light-colored rugs were a mess after my large dog's prolonged illness involving incontinence (sorry, TMI). I had no real hope for my carpets, except maybe they might smell fresher. When the cleaners were done, however, I was very, very surprised by the excellent appearance of my carpets. The job they performed far exceeded my expectations. I thought I would have to replace my carpets, but now I can put that off until the last of my three sons goes to college. I am honestly thrilled with the work done by this company. Hmm, maybe I need to get out more if a good carpet cleaning can delight me so =)

I'd gotten an estimate over the phone, and once he came to the house, he said it would actually cost a lot less then expected - what a nice surprise! Description of Work: Superlative was able to come within days of my call and did a fantastic job. We have a bound area carpet that was showing dirt from traffic in the center, as well as spots from accidental spills. Our downstairs basement has an older carpet that needed general cleaning, as well as the removal of an earthy, stale (tired) odor. Non chemical products were used and carpets looked great. Would absolutely recommend them. I had to give a 'B' for punctuality - but we did get a courtesy call to let us know driver would be late. And a 'B' for professionalism as I had assumed furniture would be moved for me - which it was... but I had to ask first and lend a hand. All in all a very good experience.

Andrew, the owner, arrived promptly, and was extremely professional and very efficient. I was considering replacing my older carpeting, but he did such an amazing cleaning job that it looks almost new again. + -1 moreOn both occasions, Gustavo did a fine job of cleaning the carpets and gave extra attention to trouble spots. Carpets were much cleaner when he finished. I used him once, then hired him again within ten days. That should tell you a lot about my level of satisfaction. I'd hire him again if I had a need.
Description of Work: This was my second experience with Superlative Steam Cleaning. Both times, Gustavo cleaned carpets for me. He cleaned a about a thousand square feet of wool carpet in one location. And another thousand square feet of acrylic carpet in the other location.

It's good for you to know approximate square feet, stairs and number of steps, and be forthright about carpets' condition so they can give you accurate estimate and schedule enough time. Estimate by phone certainly beats having to have a first appointment for estimate before scheduling the cleaning. Worked most of the day; I had to insist he take a break and share hamburgers and fries with me, or he would have skipped lunch. This experience really says it all for subscribing to Angie's List.
Description of Work: Cleaned and revived 1000+ square feet of both wool and acrylic wall-to-wall carpets. We have had carpets cleaned more or less annually due to kids, pets and heavy traffic: this is by far the best job at the best price we've ever had. He apparently has the best methods, machinery, and supplies that don't add toxics. Very few stains "came back up" as happens a day or so after most cleanings--those that did reappear had survived other cleaners, but now reappeared only faintly. Rates were lower than others; results were far superior. Plus, he's a nice guy, easy to talk with, notes your concerns. Good phone service, answered once, called back within minutes once. Gave the estimate over the phone, a big convenience. Scheduled when I wanted, was on time, followed up to confirm. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreWe were very happy with Superlative Steam Cleaning. I chose them because they were highly rated on Angie's List, and I think they definitely earned that A rating. Our carpets hadn't been cleaned in about two years, and we have teenagers and a constantly shedding dog. We had some pet stains and food/beverage stains. I had intended to vacuum before they came, but ran out of time. For all those reasons, they definitely had their work cut out for them! They actually arrived a little early, but they phoned ahead to let us know. They did a fantastic job. The stains are gone and the carpets look great, even the stairs, which were especially dirty and probably especially difficult. They were friendly and professional, and I thought the price was very reasonable. We'd definitely use them again.
