Nor-Cal Painting

I needed an estimate to prep and paint the trim on my house which is approximately 933 Sq Ft.  The first estimate I received was from another company which was $3,500 to prep and paint the trim and an additional $1,200 to prep and paint the house. I then called Nor-Cal and the owner, Doug Johnson, came by and gave me an estimate for prepping and painting the whole house (including my small house/shed in my backyard) for $2,330.  They have done such a great job that I had three of my neighbors cone by to get their phone number.  The workers' are friendly, detailed and careful.  They did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to refer them to friends and family or hesitate to call them again.  I've been having quite a bit of work done on my house and, in my opinion, this was one of the best companies that I have hired.  Truthfully, I cannot say enough good about them.  I am really impressed and very thankful that I found them.

Doug was pleasant, prompt and clear with his estimate, and was happy to supply the brand/type of stucco paint I requested (Behr Elastomeric ) at no extra charge, leaving the remainder for future use. His crew was easy to communicate with, and I felt that they were both so trustworthy and professional that I was free to run errands. It took 5 days to prep and paint my small 3 br home's exterior (footprint is almost 1,300 sq ft) One day the paint sprayer broke, but the problem was quickly solved. Doug stepped in occasionally, but had other business... he left his cell # and called his men, also came by most days to check on progress and homeowner satisfaction. When I found a minor omission near a downspout a few days later, Doug's team came back right away to finish it. My only problem at all was some confusion between contacting the Norcal company in nearby Pleasant Hill and Doug Johnson's outfit in Pinole: Nor-Cal (with a hypthen!) .
