They came out and measured prior to ordering. They ensured that windows met fire exit requirements. That can be an issue in some installations. Installers were knowledgeable, skilled and extremely courteous. They cleaned up after themselves. I have used McMullen Glass before. I had previously installed other dual pane windows in my house. All windows were Milgard brand. I chose Milgard because of lifetime warranty. I have never had a problem with any of the windows. Both installations required permits and building inspections. They pulled the permits (included in my cost), but I had to meet with inspector. Although that is somewhat inconvenient, it is the only practical solution. At the end of the job, I have a signed permit in hand. I have had other estimates for windows from other companies as well. McMullen Glass's costs were always highly competitive. I should note that some window installers will quote a price without the permit. It is absolutely essential that the homeowner verify that the permit is included.
Description of Work: They installed two matching 60"x46" XOX Milgard brand windows. These were replacement style windows to take place of old single pane, wood casement windows. Installation was performed within one day.

McMullen Glass is one of Pinole's blessings...I've used them in the past and they are known for good work...patio screen was dropped off and they perfectly re-screened it ready to be picked up. Someone had told me to call another store--they don't re-screen but they tried to sell me a completely new patio door which wouldn't have compatibly latched and probably would have been of lesser quality(mine is by Andersen)...I looked in the phone book & when I saw McMullen did re-screening my search was over.
Description of Work: Re-screening of patio door with fiberglass
