Description of Work: Our gas log fireplace insert was burning at lower and lower level. We engaged Earle Aku to diagnose and repair the problem. He spent about 45 minutes inspecting and testing the apparatus. At the end of this process, his recommendation to us was that the apparatus was not repairable and that we should look into replacing it with a new unit. Thus no repair work was actually done. He charged us $275 for less than one hour's diagnostic work.
