Rivera Handyman - Unlicensed Contractor

Ozzy did a great job coordinating the work for rebuilding the cinder block wall in my back yard that fell over during a rain storm.

Last spring, ozzie installed a water heater for me...recently two licensed contractors came over to give me an estimate on a project that required a licensed contractor...they saw ozzy's work and said that the job ozzie did was very good... Therefore I am happy to share this compliment with ozzie and others.

Ozzie installed about 340 ft of fencing in our backyard. He is very flexible and easy to work with and his work is outstanding. I would definitely hire him again.

After we found his homeadvisor listing, he contacted us and came the next day to give a bid on our wood fence project. The bid seemed fair based on comparison with a similar job at neighbors. Mr. Rivera was able to start the following Monday. They were able to tear down the old fence and haul it away quickly. He came up with a nice design for supporting the new fence and installed the fence over the next couple of days, including staining it. It looks really nice and seems very solid. I was impressed by his attention to detail including fixing a couple of items that looked OK to me but didn't meet his standards. I will definitely consider him for future projects.

Ozzie arrived on time. He was courteous and gave details of how he would complete the job, the materials to be used, etc. He worked with us on the final cost. He completed the work as scheduled. Accommodated our suggestions and requests. However, he did not accept credit card payment; I was after the rewards points from the credit card company.

Ozzie is a true professional and takes pride in his work. Shows up on time, easy to talk to and does his job well. He was also open and transparent on options and costs of the work. Would hire again.

Ozzie Rivera is nice, professional, friendly and very cordial person. He came out to see the project, a side of the house wood fence, and he gave me an estimate. Although, his estimate is a little higher than some of the previous ones I gathered, I hired him anyway, because from his explanations or layout of the way he would work on the project, plus materials he mentioned he would use, I was convinced he is the guy who I can trust, and know his craft. Sure, enough I was not disappointed - he did a good job on the wood fence, and I would like to recommend him for those who are looking for a quality handyman.

I had a couple of small jobs (repair of a wooden gate and replacement of a door bell) -- I spoke with Ozzie Rivera, and he came to my house the next day. He was very friendly and efficient. Because he travels with his tools, he was able to take care of both items on that first visit. I was very pleased, and I will definitely be calling him again!
