They were okay. The only thing I would say about them is they were slow. They're still not quite done.
Description of Work: They did the remodel of our kitchen. They designed it and also had the construction workers come in doing the construction and appliances; that kind of thing.

We trust them. We're not done yet so I'm not sure with the punctuality. I'll use them again.

iThis is a long story. One that took over 3 years to finish my kitchen. A very sad story. it all started out after my husband died. I went into the designer in the beg of the summer and told him I wanted an estimate for my bathroom and kitchen. They sent people out to measure which cost money to do. Then he Promised we would get the kitchen done by the end of the summer. He told me that the cabnets would take 6 weeks to come in and we would have it done by the time I go back to teaching and having the kids in school. We guess what the kitchen is still not completely finished. After 3 designers messed up and it all had to be redone. And the customer representive had a really snotty attitude when she dealt with me. The sad part was the head manager was trying to make it right. But his workers were not. I was treated like I had the problem. The head manager did offer to reinstall the cabnets. and intstall the appliances. Which the rep rolled her eyes at. He offered to pay cost for the counter tops and then paid for the D one without blacksplash. and support bars for the breakfast bar. 2 of the designers had quit or been let go and they both said my job was botched. The first designer order so many small cabnets and fillers and 3 sets of moldings just to get the price up. For a 10 by 10 kitchen it ended up being 7 thousand dollars which included 20 percent off. He used selling tactics to get me to agree to an incresse of 1000 dollars over the phone. Told me it would be more expensive the next day. HE wanted to charge it to my credit card. When I asked him for an estimate for installation it was a 1200 difference than he had orginally told me. He said " let's just charge it to your card." so I asked for a detailed estimate. He charged me the orginal price of 79 dollars to install each cabnet.( 22 iwith large filler in a 10 by 10. Then extra for leveling the cabnets. trash throw away. We had already decided I would throw it away. O and charges for cutting the holes in the cabnets for the plumbing. mmm I also hated my design. He never came out to the site and would only show me the one design, He wouldn't give me an estimate for countertops. The second designer enlarged the tiny cabnets/ They were measure 12 inches on the plan but that is not what was installed. Also the cabnets were not centered in the sink. They were too close to the door. The second designer put a top cabnet on the bottom without a toekick. ONe of the cabnets was broken. There is son much more to this story. I was really trying to work with Homedepot because I thought they were trying to make it right. Last summer I went in to ask if the installers could install the molding on the bottom and fix the drawer and fix the vent, and install the a toe kick to on of the cabnets. I was greeting by such hositlly by one of the assistant managers. The top manager has left to another store. He accused me of doing work on the side with one of the designers which wasn't true. I had given him a note last August and asked why he never called me back. He said he threw it on the manager's desk so he doesn't know what happened to it. I asked where he got the info on the installer working for me. He sadi" All of us managers talk" He was really rude and condescending. He told me to write it up again. He had promise me in Aug. that he would get the work done by time school started which was in two weeks. I never heard from him. THis has been a nightmare. I don't want to even walk in the store again. I teach 33 kids and am a widowed mom of two boys. I have elderly parents out of state . My life is so busy that this has been a real regret. And I would not take it futher if he had just been nice and put the toekick on.

I was very happy with the actual contractor they saved out. He did good work. He listened to me very good and cleaned up quite well when he was done. Everything was nice and the counter was like it's on forever.

I had an unpleasant experience. They came out and dumped off all the stuff. They had to go back to another job site. The work was promised on that day. I called and they eventually came back to do the work at my house. They were angry with me for calling them on this. The contractor slammed a door in my face, pushed me away and wouldn t answer my questions. Extremely unprofessional and rude. The contractor brought his daughter with him on a follow up. I would not recommend using them for air-conditioning in the future.
