We had a leaking roof and called Wedge Roofing based on reviews on Angie's List. They came the next day and identified the problem as debris buildup in one of the valleys. The valley was cleaned (took between 1 and 2 hours to diagnose and take care of the problem) and maintenance was recommended for the roof at a cost of $5000. I had a different company give an estimate on what they thought would be needed to take care of the roof and their cost came out to $1300. Wedge roofing recommended many things that the other company did not find necessary. $650 seems high to me for an emergency roof repair that took at most 2 hours to remedy. To be fair, Wedge roofing does credit $325 towards repair work but the $325 doesn't even come close to covering the extra $3700 I would have paid had I gone with Wedge roofing. In addition, the estimator did not come on site to inspect the roof before giving an estimate. I assume he went with the description and pictures provided by the roofers who did the emergency repair.

They told me that there were two ways of focusing on the project. They could focus on the suspected leaking areas. They also could completely patch all of the trouble spots in the whole roof. I have actually used them before, which is why I called them. They seemed kind of expensive. In consulting two other roofers, there were some questions about previous work they had done. Other companies questioned the flashing work, so I questioned using this company.

Wedge roofing exceeded our expectations. After they repaired our roof, we experienced a series of storms and not a single leak We are very happy with their responsiveness, professionalism and work.

They have been very good. I am very satisfied with the work. They have done everything they said they would do.

They did a good job. He's great, they aren't really friendly guys but they know what they are doing. I was told a lot of crap from other contractor's about things I needed to have done. Half of the stuff I was told was not even true, but these guys came in and got the job done and there hasn't been a problem since. The did paint the eaves on the side of the house and did a terrible job. I talked to the guy and I know their not painters so I hired another painter which was fine. They are not painters and they don't advertise that they do that professionally so it was just a misunderstanding between us and it was fine. They weren't cheap, but they did the job. I felt I got what I paid for.

They were very polite and nice but we did not use them. They gave a very reasonable bid but we decided to pay more money for a metal roof. They were very courteous and professional, and they went around with me to explain everything.

The estimator was professional and knowledgeable. The workers were generally hard-working and competent. There was an equipment failure at one point that delayed completion for a few days. I was mildly disappointed by a small amount of litter left around the yard on a couple of occasions by workers. There was a misunderstanding about the finish color that was resolved to our satisfaction. We are quite happy with the final appearance and performance of the new roofing. I had made special requests to the rain gutter crew about downspout locations in order for me to manage runoff water in the yard. They cheerfully complied and the rain gutters have since then passed a thunder storm test ( 0.50" rain in 30 min.) with no problems.

I spent around $12000, which I thought was totally reasonable. They did what they said they would do for the price estimated. After the roof was installed, it rained and it started leaking. So, they came out the next morning and told me that they thought they had fixed it. Then, they came out another day and finally fixed it. They were really great about fixing it. They were very prompt in responding to my follow-up calls, which was good. I will use them again in the future.

They are a very professional service, as it is supposed to be. They even replaced 16 ft. of flashing that was not in the bid at no charge. Other companies failed to return return my phone call: Demello Roofing, Booth and Little and Morris Roofing. I guess they only are interested in big jobs.

Wedge roofing came up with a solution that worked for all of our criteria. It took a little longer than they estimated, but the final price was exactly to spec. Now we find our house/attic much cooler in the summer and are looking forward to a warmer house this winter.

Wedge Roofing's price was competitive and fair, but what sealed the deal was Gary Harvey, representative of Wedge Roofing Inc.. Mr. Harvey was professional, prompt and was an encyclopedia of roofing knowledge. The job started on time, with the covering and protection of the outside of my home. The job was completed as promised in two days. The damaged wood discovered was repaired by their own licensed carpenter (Eric). My new roof and gutters are beautiful and they came with a 50 year guarantee.

They used the type of shingles that I told them that I wanted. I did not have any problems with the service. They were done with the job in four days and that is how long that told me it would take.

Estimator punctual, very nice, thorough. Contract professional, office staff person very nice and professional. Actual crew did two no-shows before arriving. Each time I had to phone in before being told they couldn't come because a driver was out sick. I complained to company supervisor about this. He was apologetic. Crew finally arrived and did work in a day. Not sure the small maintenance-type repairs (basically caulking/sealing) were actually worth the $750 I spent to have done, but I had agreed to that part of the contract. No way to evaluate the Garna Flex system. The roof wasn't leaking before, and isn't leaking now. So I can only hope that what was done as a preventative is in fact as good as it's supposed to be. If I see any problem a few years down the road, will try to remember to come back and repost.

Contract was not specific enough concerning the cost of additional work as needed. When the job was complete there was an additional charge for some roof sheathing which I expected. Although there was even more added on for renailing all of the sheathing. They said this had to be done because they had to remove 2 layers of roofing. They did not realize I had 2 layers during EST. DA. It appears that most of the nails did not even hit the strusses. And now there is a air leak through the hall bath sky light. I had to ask them to clean up numerous times, which they never did. I finished the clean up. They forgot the contract included gutter replacement, had to ask again for that to be done.
