+ -1 moreVery punctual, courteous and professional estimate for replacing carpet with hardwood flooring. Verbal price quoted $10/ft2 for hardwood. This was more than twice what we could afford so we decided to DIY. This contractor seemed nice to work with and probably would have tried to meet us partway if we had negotiated, I would recommend him to others.

Description of Work: They refinished the entire first floor. On the second floor they added flooring to match the original and then refinished it all so it looked completely original to the house.

+ -1 moreMr. Ramirez assisted us in finding the perfect hardwood flooring (an exotic Australian eucalyptus). He also installed temporary protection for a large art glass installation adjacent to the work, and there was no damage. All the work was performed by Mr.Ramirez and his crew while we were away. The quality of the work is outstanding-the floors are more beautiful than I could have imagined. Mr. Ramirez delivered on everything he promised and within the agreed schedule. He's absolutely trustworthy and an extremely nice person. He's also licensed.
Description of Work: The job was performed at my residence and consisted of removing and disposing of existing hardwood flooring, carpet, and tiles, and installing new hardwood flooring in their place and sanding, and finishing it. The job covered several rooms and closets, a foyer and two hallways and a 14-step stairway.
