Ferris Electric

Description of Work: On the Saturday before the service was performed, I discovered a light switch in my laundry room was very hot and smoking. After some panicking and frenzy, I called the fire department. They came out (lights, sirens and about 8 firemen!) and disconnected the wires and shut off the power to part of the house and made it possible for my sister-in-law and I to sleep that night! On Monday I called Ferris Electrical and they came out almost immediately, solved the problem quickly and gave me peace of mind. Valuable, indeed!

Description of Work: Mostly worked in a crawl space under my house, in order to evaluate a circuit I'd been told was overloaded and determined it was not. Reroute and put in two outlets onto a different circuit. Put in a third new outlet on a new circuit. .Also replaced a bad circuit breaker, and checked all the others. Cleaned up and made safe an old circuit panel. Checked my oven which wasnt working, even though they dont deal with appliances. the job took two guys, four hours, which had been their estimate. (Another company had estimated two guys, two days!)

Description of Work: I've been using them for about 25 years. Most recently they did some rewiring in my kitchen.
