Would highly recommend Don's Garage Door after checking out 4 or 5 references of other providers. His reputation is well earned in every aspect of his business ! I sure wish all service providers in all avenues ran their business like Don's.

preventive maintenance. a gent named Scott came, and he is truly a gentleman. did a fine job, replaced rollers/bearings lubed and adjusted everything. did NOT try to upsell me anything and in fact said part of what I asked him to do was unnecessary so I could save money by not doing that additional work.

I gave a C for price because I have no idea what going rates are. However, he corrected the installation that SEARS had performed less than six months ago-incorrectly. I went from Nightmare Sears to "We can handle that for you" Don's Garage Door Company...go local is my advice!

Don came last week within a few hours of our call, to inspect the cracked panel and quote to replace our 16 yr old noisy system with a quiet one. We decided this week to go ahead with the work, and within one hour of our calling to request the service be done, Scott was there, right on time. He was professional and worked steady for 90 minutes and tuned the other doors as well, before he left. We are very happy with the system and the work that they did.

They were great. I already had the mechanical but they went through the whole system and they replaced they replaced the whole thing. They were really, really good. The guy came out and gave me an estimate. I couldn't get the garage door done by the original company. He actually did everything. He told me exactly what I needed in case I needed to go to somebody else. I ended up with him eventually. I would recommend him. He was so great about giving me all the information knowing that I wouldn't probably even be coming to him. He said he could not do the job for a cheaper price. He was contesting maybe getting a panel or two. He said he couldn't get the material and do it for a cheaper price than the original company. It was fine. He was great. It was timely and I got the product that I wanted. That was good. I'm very happy with it. The price was comparable and it was good but I would love to have it cheaper.

They did a great job and I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them.

We attempted to replace a non-functioning garage door opener on our own and were unsuccessful in completing the job. Since the garage belongs to a rental, it was very important that it get fixed in a timely manner, and Don's was able to step up to the plate with speed and professionalism to resolve the problem.

We purchased our home knowing that there were two additional bedrooms added into the garage. We removed those bedrooms and wanted to get the garage door working so we could use the garage as a garage. Upon removal of the rooms, we found that one side of the garage door track was not up (we had the pieces though), the motor was not attached (we had that also), and that the springs looked like they had no tension. We set up an appointment with Don to come and see if we could get the door in working order or if we would need a new door. Don showed up on time and looked through everything with my husband. He also pointed out that the top section of the door had started splitting. He said he could get the door in working order; however, couldn't guarantee that it would last even a year. He also gave us an estimate of what it would cost to have the door and motor replaced, including haul away of the old door and motor. He left us with the information and no pressure either way. After talking things through, we followed up by going to his office to looks at samples, make our final decision, and put 1/2 of the deposit down to get a new door, motor, etc. In January, they came in and installed the new door, motor, etc. and hauled away the old one. The technician arrived on time, did his work well, and cleaned up before he left. He took the time to walk me through everything and answer my questions. We are very pleased with his work. The motor is so quiet!

Sales person was helpful and not pushy. the admin staff was responsive to questions. the installers was punctual, nice and helpful.

I initially called for an estimate. Don set up an appointment for 7am a few days later so that I could still make it to work. He measured the existing door and provided me with a quote that covered several options (insulated vs. non-insulated, glass vs. no glass, etc.) as well as several informational brochures. After taking my time to decide, I ordered an insulated steel door with a glass insert. A couple of weeks later, they came over to install the new door. The installer was punctual and professional. Work was completed on time and to my complete satisfaction.

I have had a good experience with them. They were prompt, helpful and I trusted what they were telling me about. I don't know about the price as my husband handled that for me

I called Don's and the next day Blane came out, looked at our crumpled garage door (I closed the door on the bumper of my car) and within 10 minutes, gave me a recommendation for a new door, a better and insulated door, because the old one was not able to be fixed. I paid half the money up front, by check. For whatever reason, this company does not take credit cards. It's an older, family business that's been around for over 30 years, so I guess they haven't updated their payment methods. He told me it would take 4 hours to install, but it took only 3 hours. The worker, I forget his name now because it wasn't Blane. Anyway, he was awesome. He did it by himself. He took the old door down, loaded it on his truck and installed the new one. I was really impressed, because he came at 8:51 a.m and was finished at, believe it or not 11:51 a.m. I'm so happy with the garage door. It's insulated and quiet and you can't pinch your fingers on this design. I highly recommend Don's Garage Door.

Garage door opener stopped working in early May 2010. The Genie model was original to the house (1987). We expected that we would have to replace the unit at a quoted cost of $400. It turned out that the problem was a defective hinge in the garage door. Don's repaired it quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend this company.

They came 2 to 3 times and told us that they could fix the problem, so we would not have to buy a new door. They were very honest about this. They had an excellent price, and I think they were terrific.

DON'S GARAGE WAS ON TIME FOR OUR APPOINTMENT. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT and PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO EITHER GET A NEW GARAGE DOOR OR REPLACE YOUR EXISTING ONE.
