Gus, from Anchor, provided service at a rental property. Upon move in of new tenants, they started to report that the circuit breaker for the living and bed rooms were tripping when plugging in their electrical devices (lamp, computer, etc). Called Anchor and explained to Gus the situation. He was courteous enough to schedule an immediate appointment for the day, as it turns out his shop is a few blocks from the property location. Gus arrived at the property, and immediately determined the issue was loose electrical connections at the main circuit breakers and sub-panel connections resulting in low voltage conditions. He also advised that wrong circuit breakers were being used, resulting in higher current draw - an immediate safety concern. After re-tightening the main connections, replacing the breakers, the tenants did not experience further issues. Gus is very knowledgeable and has years of experience in electrical work. He is up front about his minimum charge of $200 for first hour or service, regardless of the issue. Gus's rates are a bit higher than other quotes, but Gus did replace the circuit breakers at no extra charge and spent extra time with me explaining additional electrical changes to consider in order to prevent such occurrences, and demonstrated professionalism and interest in ensuring a job well done.
Description of Work: Troubleshoot why electrical outlets in living room and bedroom were tripping the main circuit breakers. Make repairs as necessary.
