BLUE SKY CHEM-DRY

I had used Blue Sky previously and was very pleased with their service. This time, however, they were sub par. My dog had gotten ahold of an ink pen which resulted in several small ink stains in my carpet. I called Blue Sky and inquired if they do carpet repairs. The man I spoke to assured me they do and I requested an appointment to have my carpets cleaned and have a "cut and plug" repair done in the living room. An appointment was set for Friday, July 25 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The technicians arrived during the specified time window. I showed them the ink spots and pulled out the carpet remnant to be used for the repair. The technician suggested that he try to clean the spot first because he had a solvent that would remove ink. He proceeded to apply the solvent and used a brush with stiff bristles to remove the spots. He worked very diligently on the spots for almost an hour. When he was finished it looked like most of the spots were gone. On closer inspection, however, the solvent and brushing had removed the carpet threads! I immediately called the office and explained what happened. The woman who answered the phone said she would have to speak to the technicians when they got back in the office. On Tuesday I again called and spoke to the same woman. She claimed that the technicians did not create the holes in the carpet but my dogs did. I responded that it was the attempt at removing the ink spots that caused the damage and requested a discount for a cut and plug. She continued to deny culpability and refused a discount. In fact, she suggested I just dispute the charge with my credit card company and didn't care if I wrote a bad review. When I asked to speak to the owner she responded that she was the owner. I can't understand how a business owner could care so little about a customer. Isn't the goal to have repeat customers? It wasn't like I was asking to have the repair done for free and I believe a discount was in order.

THEY WERE VERY NICE AND POLITE. THEY TOOK CARE OF DOING A GOOD JOB IN EVERY ROOM. THEY ALSO TOOK CARE OF TWO BIG SPOTS WE HAD IN OUR T.V. ROOM TOO. THEY WERE FAST AND GOOD.
