GLORIA LANDSCAPING

Jim put pavers in my patio with 3 sets of stairs. The bricks on the stairs were not glued properly and came lose, as did some of the pavers. He put in a very cheap, poor quality drainage that does not work. The drainage at street level was about 3/4" below the top of the stairs. . A family member tripped on this and it was a nasty fall. When I sent a note to Jim, he just blew it off as my problem The crew workmanship was somewhat reasonable, but dealing with Jim was worse than exhausting. If you owe him money, he is your best friend, Johnny on the spot. When you pay him off and require followup to fix the screw ups, everything is your fault. I would not hire him again in any circumstance.

Rain did delay some of the paver work but they did an excellent job getting all the patio done. The workers were there when they said they would be. It was completed a little late but that was because of the massive rain we had in December. We do love our new patio and look forward to using it often.

Using Gloria Landscaping was a mentally exhausted experience. In the end, the project was more than what we imagined, but the journey with Jim Gloria was not what we expected being our first contractor we hired since we bought our house. Looking back, the contract should have been more defined in what exactly was to be done. Because of that, there was important miscommunication problems during the six days the crew was at the house. Couple of the important issues that was not communicated to the crew was fixing the drainage on one side of the house and adding mulch to the project. Becoming aware of these problems and leaving constant voicemails was concerning since the crew was under pressure by Jim to finish the job quickly and we didn't want them to leave until the issues were addressed. The backyard was completed with the issues resolved. David, Mike and one other gentleman that came later into the project were quite wonderful and the craftsmanship on the paver walkway was quite impressive. Whether we would hire Gloria Landscaping again is a maybe since the crew did an outstanding job under the circumstances but Jim made us anxious which on the upside we lost couple of pounds during the makeover.

LOVE IT!! Jim, his foreman Jackie and the crew were all great to work with. I highly recommend them!
