When it comes to providing exceptional services that have been refined over the years and proven time and time again, no other company has the credentials and track record of RS Clark / Gold Country Septic.
My sewage ejection pump that pumps sewage and waste water up to the sewer in the street failed. Another plumber installed a new pump, but it was not powerful enough. He insisted that the pump was adequate. Gold Country Septic brought a video camera that showed that the sewage pipe up to the street was not blocked and that I needed a more powerful pump. The other plumber grudgingly installed a bigger pump and left. Gold Country Septic told me that the system needed a new back-flow valve, and a new turn-off valve, and should have an alarm system, and better sealing, and especially to seal off the 230 volt wiring, which was presently exposed and not safe. Gold Country Septic then proceeded to amazingly locate an old alarm system in my house that I did not know about, hooked it up, installed new pipes and valves and rewired and sealed the electrical system, and installed a new top to the tank and sealed it. They showed initiative and knew what they were doing and left me with an almost new reliable system. I cannot say enough about them.
Description of Work: Gold Country Septic upgraded my sewage ejection system.

The tanks haven't been cleaned for years, and I needed them inspected for a sale in the near future. Sean came out and excavated the tank lids and cleaned both tanks. He had to make a second trip the next day because he needed more equipment so he could finish the job of cutting out the roots. Then he and David made a third trip to clean the main line from the house to the tanks with the root cutter and then the jetter to clean the waste out. It was a messy job, but it's done now and will be in fine shape for new owners. Sean and David were friendly and helpful with their suggestions on how to keep the roots from growing back into the tanks.
Description of Work: Cleaned septic tanks and put "T" in between the solid and liquid tanks. There were an abundance of roots that had grown into both tanks and the main line from the house into the tank. Went up the main line and cut out the roots and evacuated the waste with the jetter.

I dug out the inlet/outlet pipes to seal the pipes to the septic tank and found they had been cracked/broken in several places because of tree roots. I dug out and exposed the lengths of pipe so they could be replaced. They came on Monday and were scheduled for 0730 to 0745 AM as the first appt of the day. They arrived at 0800 AM without a phone call. They exposed the fitting to the leach field and found solids/biomats in the pipes. The leach fields were not draining water. I did not have a distribution box, all I had were fittings to the leach fields. Alternatives were explained and I decided to purchase and install the Aero Stream system which will aerate and break down the solids in the leach fields. The system is guaranteed to work or my money back in two years. I viewed the company website and decided the $1500 was worth it instead of digging up and hydrojetting the lines. They replaced the outlet pipe and sealed it to the septic tank. They will return with the Aero Stream soon and will also replace the inlet pipe with PVC and install a clean out T. They told me what I would need to use the Aero Stream system and I can do the work myself to save on labor costs. I installed a 20 amp GFI outdoor socket in a weatherproof box near the tank side of my house and ran wire to my circuit box. They wanted it on a 20 amp circuit all it's own since the pump will be running 24/7 to aerate the septic tank/lines. I trenched from this location to the tank and they will install the system and airline in a conduit. Labor costs to have them dig anything is $79 an hour. I can sweat myself and save all that money. They are reasonable on everything else and appear to be very honest in their recommendations. They pumped my parent's 1500 gallon septic tank recently and their system was in bad shape as well. It took them two days to complete the job, locate the tank and install risers for future servicing.
Description of Work: Outlet pipe from septic tank to leach field replaced with modern PVC from broken Poly Styrene pipe. Aero Stream system ordered and will be installed once the system arrives. They will install the system and replace the broken/leaking inlet pipe from the house to the tank with PVC piple.
