My Name is J. Hamon III, Hamon Overhead Door is a Garage door company was founded by my grandfather in 1966. Now the third generation at Hamon Overhead door we are very much a family company. We serve The central coast of California from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara, with two office locations to serve almost any garage door need. We currently have 18 employees. We're a California licensed contractor # 391619, we are also a Certified small business member # 42755. We give free estimates on retrofits and new construction doors. The installer did a STELLAR job considering the 3 incorrect measurements. The one that has to be remedied is the house door to the garage. IT ONLY OPENS A THIRD OF THE WAY. THE ROLLER TRACKS ARE BLOCKING IT. I was told it would be relaid to someone in charge. I've heard nothing.

Description of Work: Roll Up garage door had jammed so would not go up or down. I disconnected the spring cable and propped the door open. used Angies list to find a repair service. Hamon Door had a good rating so called and talked to the owner. After he determined that there was no security risk in having an open door (I live on a Ranch) he sent a repairman the next morning. Milt came on time and went right to work. Had the door fixed in less than an hour. He found that the door had a crack that let it flex too much and the rollers could slip out of the race. He installed a support rail to stabilize the door and everything works just fine.

Description of Work: In April, one of Hamon's full-time employee's gave my overhead garage door its spring cleaning. Plus, he corrected a number of permanent problems it had. The most significant task that Hamon has done occurred ten years ago, when John Hamon visited and recommended how to replace the overhead door that was with the house when I bought it in 1998. That door was not positioned correctly and in the course of rebuilding the garage ceiling, John recommended how to rebuild that ceiling so that a new garage door would work properly. Hamon Overhead Door is a family-owned business. I've always had superb service from family members and their employees.

Very professional and quick installation. Both doors are working as new. Be persistent in your communication with Hamon Door. They sometimes do not reply immediately. The delays were worth it though. Quality work at a competitive price.

I called Hammon about the garage door acting funny in November. I was given some ways that I might fix the problem myself. Eventually it got so bad, I needed them to come out. Turned out the motor was bad. Replacement happened in one hour.
Description of Work: The door lift mechanism was not working. The service was swift and satisfying. Problam fixed. No problems since.
