Sunset Glass came out the day after we called them, gave us an estimate on the spot, took the frame back to their shop, and returned the same day to install it with a new frosted glass pane. Quick, simple and painless.

spent several days trying to find contractor to replace a broken window during weekends. all but one contractor specified M-F hours from 9-6 which is challenging as i work far from home and have a job that doesn't make early afternoon departures or late morning arrivals possible. finally i found sunset glass, who not only were able to accomodate my weekend schedule but also quoted and completed the project for $125 less than all other bids. They were on time, professional and quick. In and out in under an hour and zero issues. Strongly recommend this company and will call them first for my next broken window adventure.

I called and the guys came out within an hour, gave me an estimate, we agreed on a price, and they went out to find the right glass. They did a great job of matching the glass, and a very professional job of installing the glass. It was a tricky job because the the windows were about 20 feet off the ground and they had to replace it from the outside.

Windows are your basic double paned vinyl. Average job of installation. They did not provide trim. There was an exterior piece of the siding that came unglued, but they came out and fixed it. Overall good value due to low price but average installation.

Workers arrived on time, gave an estimate, went to get parts, and returned to do the job. Two people worked diligently for 3 hours. Everything was repaired to my satisfaction and the price was as estimated.

I called to get a phone quote, received it , it was respnable and I took the windows to them and they repaired them.

Based on their top rating on Angie's List I called Sunset. They gave me a verbal estimate over the phone based on the window sizes (which was within a few bucks of what they ended up charging me), and we made arrangements for them to come out the next day. Two guys showed up, looked at the windows and quickly went to work. One of the crew was a native English speaker, he translated for the other guy who spoke little/no English. (I mention it just because it can sometimes be hard to find construction folks who speak English in LA and my Spanish is minimal.) It took them a few hours to remove the old windows, cut and install the new windows. Overall a fine job and very friendly guys. I'd gladly call them again for future window repairs.

Their men came out on time and finished the job quickly. It was a larger more complicated job than they first anticipated. They worked very diligently and completed the work within a day. The cost of the work was larger than their estimate. They were able to clearly explain to me the reason for the additional cost. Once they did that, I was happy to pay it.

The estimate went great, and an appointment for installation was scheduled. While I had to call to remind them of the installation appointment, the installation went seamless. They worked hard and were quick and thorough with the job. I do recommend they bring and use drop cloths for the next job. I had just installed a new tile floor and was concerned about potential damage with the glass door installation. Luckily, no issues were encountered and this customer was very happy.

They did a great job - their work looks great, and they were in and out within 20 minutes. The only issue I had was that we had to re-schedule the appointment with them two times, and they were slightly late today. It wasn't a major crack and I wasn't in a major rush, so it wasn't too big of a deal for us.

They put in 9 mirrors throughout my house. I found them online and read the reviews. I particularly liked that they were friendly. They also put in a mirror for my gym.

Broke a sliding glass door the weekend before Thanksgiving. Called several places who quoted around $600 and would need to special order the glass and couldn't replace it until after Thanksgiving. Juan offered a different repair solution that could be done for less than $300 and could be done the next day. Juan said someone would come that day to measure. He did not come at the time promised, but did eventually show up, take the necessary measurements, and set the repair for the next day. I made it clear that the repair the next day needed to be completed by 3:00 (we were leaving town), and Juan assured me that would not be a problem. The workers showed up late, but with enough time to finish by 3:00. They seemed unaware of the 3:00 deadline, however, and were surprised when we told them about it. They did finish at exactly 3:00, and the work was well done. So they have some issues with timeliness, but I appreciated that they were willing to do what was necessary to get the job done (especially working past regular business hours to come for the measurements). Everything worked out and we are very happy with the job.

Call them for appointment to come and look at the next day. When they arrived, he looked at the job and quoted a price. We said yes and they did the work immediately. When repairing the door, discovered that the track was damaged and repaired at only $10.00 increase in price. They also worked at the job for approximately two hours to complete the job without a price increase.

I have been struggling with the window for about five months. Sometimes it would close and sometimes it would not. I thought it was the hinges or a bent frame because the latch would not line up with the frame. Anyway, I finally called Sunset Glass on Monday. I asked for an estimate to replace the window. The guys came out and said it could be fixed. The whole job included sanded the frame, replacing the latch and re-aligning the window. I was very pleased with the service and the two guys who worked at the house.

No problems-when I arranged to pick up next day; I got busy and he called again the next day to remind me.

When I first called Sunset Glass, I spoke to Juan, and he was very friendly and courteous. I needed to replace a broken window. I have double paned, sliding vinyl windows throughout my house and my bathroom window was broken. Both the stationary side and the sliding side of the window were broken. I gave Juan the measurements over the phone and he quoted me $280 for the whole job, which I thought was a fair price since the window is large and double paned, with low-e, obscure glass. That evening he came to my house with an assistant and they confirmed the measurements and price, and I gave them the go-ahead to do the job. Then Juan ordered the windows and a few days later the windows were in, and a few days later (on a Saturday which is great for me since I work Mon. through Fri.), two installers came over (one of the installers is Juan's son - very courteous and professional) and installed my beautiful new windows. They were punctual and thorough. My windows look great! While they were there, I showed them the screen was has a bent frame, so they took it and are going to make me a new screen, including the frame, for only $25. It's a large screen. I thought they did a great job, so I had them measure my shower door cause I've been wanting to replace it for years. They have ordered the shower door for me and when the job is done, I will post another review to let you know how it went.

Juan came out and gave a estimate for the work. It came with in my budget that I wanted to spend. He was right on time for his appointment with me. He was very knowledgeable on what I wanted to have done. His workers arrived a few days later right on time. They were very nice to work with. They installed the new glass door for my tub shower. They cleaned up after them selves. No problems at all with this company. I would use them again when I need more glass work done.

He made great suggestions in the glass for us and even smoothed down the edges to make is look nice and not pointy on the edges. Great service and very professional.

I called Sunset Glass based on a previous report on Angie's List. The price quoted was lower than anyone else's and he agreed to come out on the same day, after another job. The repairman actually arrived about an hour earlier than promised. He replaced the glass, cleaned up quickly and completely and charged me exactly what I was quoted over the phone.

The owner, Juan, was very professional over the phone. The job was completed as requested. The only area the company needs improvement is being late and not calling the customer to tell us of their late arrival. The workers were 3 hours late on the day of installation and didn't call to tell us what the problem was. Because there was a chance of rain, we called another company to come the next day just in case Sunset Glass didn't show up. It turned out they couldn't get the tempered glass on time as they planned. Courtesy phone calls are always appreciated. They cleaned up well after they finished the job.

Two men arrived exactly on time. They were courteous and professional. I showed them the problem, they immediately told me what it would cost. I gave them the go-ahead and they were done in an hour and a half. Their work was excellent. I paid them, we said our thank yous and goodbyes and they were on their way.

Even though I live several miles away from this company's headquarters, he was more than willing to come back when I had questions. He did a wonderful job on my shower doors. It makes my whole bathroom look better. When I asked if he could put the towel bar on the new door, he did so without charging me extra. I was very happy with this company's work. I got an estimate from another company who wanted to charge $400 more and would have used a shower door that was inferior to the one Sunset Glass installed. This company also does mirrors and windows.
