RIVERA LANDSCAPING

Bad. Antonio Rivera and his son have been satisfactory over the years, until recently. Half of my back lawn is dead. At first I thought these dead areas were a seasonal thing and would come back, as it has every year. It has been this way for over a couple of months now. I spoke with them about it a couple of weeks ago and his son told me it was a gungi fungus. I asked him if there was some kind of treatment, he said there was a spray. Then last week I spoke to them again about it. They then changed their tune and said the condition of the lawn was due to inadequate or insufficient watering on my part. Yet, the greenery surrounding my lawn is absolutely fine! They're simply lying. Antonio told me he would make the necessary repairs to the lawn, but would charge me $400 for that. They never once spoke to me about the problem during the last couple of months or so until I brought it up. They were incompetent and lazy by not addressing the lawn problem early on, and now they want to hijack me for $400. I will now happily pay someone else to fix this problem. They are both nice enough guys, but they shot themselves in the foot. I wouldn't hire these guys to pick up dog s**t.

Never returned call

I get regular yard maintenance and occasional extras from Rivera Landscaping. They do a fine job of keeping the yard looking tidy. During the wind storm in 2011, they removed a fallen tree that had damaged my garage for a very good price. The only criticism I have is that it is a little difficult to communicate any extras I need done, as they generally work when I am not home and their visits are not always on the same day / time of the week.

Antonio is very nice and personable. He does much more than just yard maintenance. We are having him install electric lights up the walking path to our home as well. I am very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him to others. I did rate his services a little lower for punctuality only because the first time he came only because there was a small mishap the first time he was supposed to come by. Apparently they had my address wrong and couldn't find where I lived, a few hours later we spoke and rescheduled for the following day.

They were nice enough, but we were not happy with the quality of work performed. We asked them to weed and that was often not done. Other times, they removed other plants that we didn't want removed at all.

I bought a new house and was looking for a gardener to mow my lawn and keep the yard nice. Antonio owner of Rivera Landsacaping is amazing! he is really professional, very helpful, and a very pleasant human being. He does great work and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He is a perfectionist. My lawn and roses look AMAZING! When I first hired him my lawn was brown because the previous owner turned the sprinklers off, now my lawn is the envy of the block that was all Antonio's doing. He laid the seed down and did whatever needed to be done to bring the lawn back to life. He comes once a week and always does a great job. I also just had Antonio build a fence around my yard and he did an amazing job!

We enjoy working with Antonio every week and plan to keep him on for the forseeable future.

Good gardener but if he can't make it on the regular weekday, he doesn't come again for another week. Plus he didn't call to tell me he wasn't coming or even attempt to reschedule.

I would say he is excellent. Their prices compared to others is reasonable.

Excellent. Estimate was done on time, workers showed up on time and completed the work on time.
