Painting Update

As a much younger man, i used to paint and decorate in the UK, so i have a pretty good knowledge of the trade. I needed my rental property painted and thought id give these guys the job as their reviews arent too bad. I found out that these guys are ABYSMAL ! When i complained they told me they've been painting and decorating for 23 years. I could be wrong and this is only my guess but, if thats the case why do they only have 3 reviews ? I'd suggest it's because the previous incarnations of their companies received too many bad reviews to continue trading under that name, nothing else makes sense. My windows were oversprayed, security lights were oversprayed to such an extent that they are half white and half green. Finishes are spackled with hair or cloth particles. Drips everywhere. Concrete foundation is covered in overspray. Copper pipes have not been cleaned and bubbles of grease reside under their paint.They dumped the crap theyd sanded and scraped off in front of the pation bench. On the 2nd attempt to get them to correct their mistake, i got a horrible attitude from Robert and so asked for 25% of the payent back so that i could put that towards a team of professionals to correct Painting Update's mistakes. He refused. I asked him to leave. Willy later rang me to offer $200. I told him that was an insult. Previously they'd spent an interminably tedious amount of time at my home hard-selling me window installation. They quoted $20K to install 11 windows and one sliding door. Jons Windows in Burbank subsequently quoted me $13K. These guys are to be AVOIDED !

The service was wonderful. I was very happy. They give attention to details.
