Landsford Roofing lived up to other clients' reports on Angies List and I happily join them in recommending Landsford Roofing.

I was there every day, but only because I had renters to keep happy. Otherwise, I wouldn't have needed to be there at all. Robert Lansford's people are helpful, start work promptly, don't waste time, have big equipment to make deliveries of roofing material by conveyor to the roof of the house, and honestly, I combed through my shrubbery looking for broken pieces of shake roof that was removed, and found NONE! I can recommend Robert Lansford without any reservations. He even had a great electrician who installed an attic fan, and who I've used since then. Mine was a complete removal of two layers of a shake roof on both the garage and house, They had to install a plywood sub-roof over all. Over part, they installed insulation which made a huge difference in heating and cooling that section of the house. Vent pipes were replaced, and a vent added to the garage. It's now 4 years later, and I have a great-looking roof for which I am very appreciative to Robert Lansford.

Outstanding. I interviewed more than a dozen roofers. Robert Lansford stood out for knowledge, professionalism, and honesty. And his crew followed up with all of that. They showed up on time, gave us a gorgeous and weathertight roof, did a thorough cleanup job, all in three and a half days for a 2000 plus square foot house. The final county inspector commented on how this company always does a great job, and we agree: it was terrific. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and our roofing experience, and heartily recommend Lansford Roofing with no reservations.

They did a great job. The end result looks very nice. They painted all the vent and exhaust pipes to match the color the roof, which really makes everything look nice. I will only truly know the quality of the work after the rainy seasons in the years ahead, but at this point everything looks great. Lansford was a near match to the lowest of three estimates I received. I went with Lansford based on a general vibe I got that the owner was very involved with and had a long history with his crew, and that he genuinely cared about the quality of his work. Overall everything was done very well and very timely (we had a one day delay which was actually the fault of the county inspector). There was also one minor issue I needed adjusted on the vent holes under the eaves and they came out shortly after and tweaked it to my satisfaction with no complaints. I highly recommend this company. PS - At the time of estimate he advised that I would provide separate payments to the tear-off company, the material supplier and to him. At first I didn't like that idea but when you think about it this is really beneficial to the customer. If you hire a contractor for anything on your house and for some reason they don't pay a supplier or sub-contractor, you can have a lien placed on your house. Last year my neighbor had to deal with a half completed kitchen for two weeks when a subcontractor didn't get paid. He eventually just paid the sub-contractor directly to finish the work and now months later he is still trying to recover that money that he had already paid to the contractor. When you pay every body directly you have no risk of that. With Lansford you pay everybody directly (you can simply hand the owner a check and he'll pass it on, so it really isn't any inconvenience) then pay him the remainder of the estimate/total contract amount at the end. I paid the supplier with a credit card that didn't charge me any extra cc fee and I ended up with several thousand airline miles! In the final summary you get a copy of all material receipts as well. I did a little math on how much money was left for the actual roofing company and how many man-days were put in by the crew. It seems their profit margin is pretty thin.

Called to find out if they would do roof repair and they only do construction. They referred us to a roofer who said they will check and give us an estimate. The referral did not call or give us an estimate.

The owner and his foreman came out 2 days after my initial phone call. They advised that ridge pieces were installed incorrectly, same as the home inspector had told us before we bought the house. The estimate was received four days later. Work was done about 10 days later and took about 2 hours. Color matching, product selection and delivery was done by them without our involvement. Cleanup was excellent. Result looks very good from the ground. I would ask them again for a roof replacement.

The service was everything that I wanted and then some. The job was excellent. I would go out of my way to recommend them to others. Sometimes roofers have a shady reputation but not these guys. I had a wonderful experience. They were very competitive in price. I will not be telling you the price that I paid but they were much cheaper than the other bids that would be using lower-quality materials and only one layer of felt.

I actually saw their sign at another home in my neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to have the owner, Robert come to my home for the estimate. They climbed up to see what needed to be fixed and gave me a written estimate right then and there. After agreeing to a time and date for the repairs to be done, one of their employees came right on time, started the work and left my home clean. Although it wasn't a real pricey job, they were so helpful to me in getting the job done right, within budget and looking great. I sleep better at night knowing that my roof won't be leaking. I would hire them again.

Did a very fast and good job; clean-up each day of work. Right on schedule and looks great.
