They are fairly inexpensive but the last time I had them it was a little expensive. He was very prompt and very nice. He also cleared a kitchen clog once. I have never had anything more complicated done by him. He comes very quickly and he fixes the problem. He is inexpensive. I feel if it is a simple job he would handle it well. I don't know about more complex things. When we had our kitchen done our contractor had his own plumber so I wouldn't know if I would have contacted him. He is the only person in the company.

I have used Doug a number of times over the years and have always been very happy with his work, his professionalism and his easy-going manner. Last year, in anticipation of a new refrigerator, Doug inspected and repaired the water connection in the kitchen wall. While he was there, I mentioned to him I was interested in some kind of instant hot water system because I've always had to run the water in the bathroom sink for more than a minute to get hot water up from my garage water heater. He assured me it was quite simple, he could install a circulating pump that would cost about $400, and it would work on a timer so it would not run when it was not needed. All I needed was an outlet under the sink where it would be mounted. Recently I decided to go ahead. Before I had the electrician come out, I called Doug to make sure I had the proper work done. He answered his phone immediately and answered my questions. When the electrician came and had some of his own questions, I again called Doug and he spoke to the electrician directly to make sure it was done right. When I left him a message to say I was ready to make an appointment for him to come out, he returned the call in less than an hour. I had no problem making an appointment for the day I wanted. He arrived promptly and quickly installed the pump. He set the timer for me, and explained how to change it when daylight savings time ends. He patiently answered every question I had. The total cost of $534 was right in the ballpark I had anticipated and I now get my hot water much faster throughout the house.

Doug is a great, no-nonsense kind of guy. He is a down-to-earth person who wants to make sure that everybody is pleased with his work. He is just wonderful. He has got a small outfit, so we only deal with him. We would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.

I have used his services several times and he is excellent. I never had any leakage problems after that. He is reasonably priced and the quality is good. It?s easy to get along with him and my animals like him too. He comes out the day I call him and always returns the call, promptly. He has repaired faucets, fixed plumbing issues, etc. Once we had a leak in the air tube and he fixed the same. Since, it was a new problem he never charged me anything. I like his services and will use the same in future.

Mr.Kuttuff was on time, very nice and very professional. He had the disposal installed within an hour even though it was a larger unit. I would definitely hire him again. We talked about other possible projects and he was knowledgeable and his prices were quite reasonable.

I found Doug on Angie's List and called him because he had such high marks and good reviews. He did not disappoint. I had a small list of several small plumbing items (some easier than others) and he checked off the list one by one. He was very responsive to my initial phone message and flexible with scheduling. I've got his card now and he is now my "go-to" plumber. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Doug is knowledgeable, timely, efficient and professional. He tried the conservative approach first but quickly found that a new part was needed. He ordered it overnight delivery and promptly returned to install the part as soon as it was available. We needed this bathroom functional for arriving guests. He does the work himself. He is neat and cleans up when finished. He is experienced with older and antique plumbing often found in Pasadena homes. I will definitely use this plumber again.

The water heater was not working, it couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced. He replaced it. We have worked with him 3 - 4 times. He is very professional. He knows what he can do and what he can't. He is very honest. I have not had any problems with him and he has been great.

Doug was very quick and professional. In addition to replacing my broken toilet tank assembly in one bathroom, I asked him to replace the seal on the toilet in another bathroom. Although he didn't think the seal was leaking, he checked nevertheless, found everything was ok, and re-caulked so everything was nice and clean.

We called on a Saturday morning. He does not charge extra for Saturday calls. He came over within an hour or so and called to let us know he was coming. He had the necessary tools with him when he walked in. We were very impressed with his courtesy and workmanship.

Doug answers his own phone. He shows up when he says he will. He does the work himself. He works cleanly and efficiently. He tells it like it is and will make suggestions on how to prevent the problem in the future. The one downside to working with Doug is that he will not take on larger jobs. I wish he would. I would use him for my remodeling projects. I have used him many times, and I give him my highest recommendation.

Overall he was very efficient. Estimate was pretty much on target, and he seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He went above and beyond, recommending a different way to save money. Very trustworthy and professional, and I would recommend him to anyone else.

He is the owner and plumbing. He is very concerned about doing the job right and thrives on customer satisfaction. He is extremely responsive to this particular situation as he came out immediately. I have used him on numerous occasions. Each time, I have been extremely pleased with his performance.

Excellent! Answered his own phone; came over within a couple hours. Had everything he needed with him and went from work point to work point in an efficient, professional manner. Wry humor, and was willing to let me know exactly what he was doing while he was doing it. He looked also at a couple larger problems I asked him about and gave me a rough guess of what someone charging fairly would charge me; he specializes in troubleshooting such as I described, and he's good at it. No wasted time nor overcharges for parts.

They did a great job and I was very pleased with the service. They were on time and made sure to answer all of our questions. They were professional and polite.

We are very happy with Doug's service. He's easy to contact and schedules service calls quickly. He explained the work he was doing, did the work efficiently, and left no debris behind. He also graciously did a few other minor repairs (such as installing a flow restrictor in our shower head) without charging us and took the time to answer several other questions we had about the plumbing in our new house.

Call him. I could not see him except on a Saturday. He came and looked at the job and said it was nothing. He repaired the toilet without any problems. The outside faucet when it was removed, the plastic pipe connection broke and had to be replaced. Since the water had to be turned out, we had no water for a brief hour or so. He did not expect to be paid until he knew that the pipe would hold and there were no leaks in the connections. He came back to check everything.

I would use again for any of my plumbing problems.

The plumber we'd used for years recently retired, so when our laundry room water heater went out I didn't know who to call. Fortunately, my wife had seen an article about Angie's List and I decided to give it a try. After looking through the reviews, I called Kuttruff Plumbing and left a message. Doug Kuttruff called back in less than half an hour, but was booked for the day. He was available the next day, but since it sounded like we needed immediate service he suggested I call one of the companies that specializes in water heaters. The one I chose had the word Affordable in their name, but when they came out and gave me an estimate they were anything but affordable. So, since Doug seemed like a straight shooter, I called him back and made an appointment for the next day. His price was about half of the other estimate, and he did a great job. If you're looking for an honest independent plumber who provides personal service at a fair price, I recommend Doug Kuttruff.
