We needed a total house rewire and panel upgrade for our old 1930's home. I got the job quoted out by 4 different electricians and ended up going with Miguel because his price was fair and he gave the most detailed estimate about the work he was going to do. Miguel was very meticulous and with every step of the process would keep me informed and educated about what he was doing and why he was doing it. He's also a super friendly guy and a pleasure to have around and cares a lot about customer satisfaction. He even helped us out sourcing other contractors to help with drywall, patching stucco, and painting at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Miguel for whatever electrical needs you have.

It was on a Monday or Tuesday that I posted my electrical job requirements to three Angie Certified companies. HZ Electric and owner Miguel Hidalgo contacted me right away. In fact, they are the only ones who contacted me. He said he could drop by later in the evening. Miguel showed up right on time. After we discussed the job he said he could come on Saturday and it would take roughly 3 hours. What I really appreciate about Miguel is his old school attitude and experience. If he's going to be even 30 minutes late he calls to let you know. He takes pride in his work and won't take short cuts like so many others do. One example is he replaced the existing flood light electrical wires to a heavier gauge for safety concerns and to bring up to current code requirements. He did this in many other instances when discovering the original contractor or home owner took some short cuts for my home built in the early 70"s. I liked the work Miguel had completed so much that I had him come back the following Saturday to rewire a couple of bedroom wall switches and electrical outlets that was wired wrong. I am totally please with the work that HZ Electric has done.

Miguel was wonderful , his attention to detail definitely impressed us. He installed 3 electrical panels in our home and installed several lights and fans . I’m able to charge my Tesla now. When the city inspector came he was impressed with his work, we had no issues at all. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing it and why. A true tradesman . We will definitely be calling miguel back to do more work on our home.

Miguel had to get in my attic to replace the original junction box and only charged me a little more as well as update some wiring. He was professional, friendly and the fan and lights look great!

It was great. They were conscientious, they did a thorough job, they cleaned up after themselves and they ensured that everything was working.

It was a good work.Everything was properly labeled and subcontracted out to repaired the stucco that was removed. The best electrical work ever done. The price was good, the work was superior, and I highly recommend them.
