My son bought a house and the trees needed a good trimming. as several of the branches are hanging over power lines. I called the firm and a very nice receptionist took my information and told me that Ray would call later in the afternoon. Ray did not call. I waited a couple of days and called again. Once more, the courteous receptionist took my information and said Ray would call. Once more, Ray did not call. I called another tree service, left my information and got a call later in the afternoon.

Got it done efficiently between rain storms. Cleaned up well. Shaped the tree well. Team worked together effectively. Used them before and will again.

Estimate was provided same day. Scheduled the work for later the same week. The crew showed up first thing in the morning as scheduled. I was consulted about a few specifics of the work to be done during the morning and everything was completed to my satisfaction. They were particularly good about working around the plantings below the trees, covering them where necessary to avoid damage. I've used them in the past and continue to be very happy with the quality of their work.

That's okay. It didn't quite work out the way I wanted it to. They were suppose to trim some trees that really needed it and they trimmed it so minimally you can't see that it was ever done. They could have done more work to make it a better experience. I would tell a friend not to use them. The workers were barely here.

It was good. I didn't dislike anything about the service. I thought the estimate was a little high and I had somebody else do the service. I didn't even try to get reimbursed even though he told me to.

We had numerous scheduling problems but once they showed up they did a good job. They knew what they were doing.

Tim was polite and prompt with the estimate. The job stayed right on the estimate. The crew was professional and polite, and cleaned up after themselves very well. Only negative was that they let heavy branches drop onto my neighbor's fruit tree and succulent garden. Hence the only "B" grade for professionalism. However, they apologized and my neighbor contacted Tim, the owner, who came over promptly, also apologized, and resolved the situation. Overall it was very good service, at a reasonable price.

It all went well. We had no problems.

The cost was reasonable and they did fine. They did not remove the whole tree. They did a decent job.

I purchased this deal in October 2014 and someone came and looked at what I needed to have done and I have been waiting since then. I have called him and left several messages with no response.

They arrived on time and worked quickly. They cut all trees back by almost half and assured us that they would grow like crazy in spring. The one tree in our backyard that I can't remember the name of is growing back nicely. The mulberries were super overgrown, so when they were cut back it looked shocking. They haven't sprouted new leaves yet but I figure it's still winter and it's not the growth season. The company went above and beyond cleaning up afterward. They even removed the leaves from the walkway on the side of the house by the back yard gate. I was impressed by that.

Tree removed. Ground looks ok.. Ground looks ok but looks like a mound where tree removed.

Job went ok but some follow ups were planned for later on. However despite a few remonders the provider never came back to us.

It was fine and they did a good job. They did it for a good price compared to others and they are very responsive. They got the job done in one day. The manager was fine to work with.

There was some miss communication that resulted in a no show for the estimate. I had to follow up a week after the scheduled appointment (after not receiving the promised estimate in my mailbox), and was told no such appointment was maid. They asked who I initially scheduled the appointment with (how should I remember that?), and I had the impression that they didn't believe an appointment had been made. (I'm lying?). I have one row of trees along the back of the property- these are the trees I initially asked to have an estimate done for. In fairness, I told this to the first person I spoke with who said she'd note it for the estimator (who incidentally, was going to be doing an estimate for another property in my neighborhood of Valley Village that same day). The estimator came to my home and left an estimate for trimming and removal of tree's on "entire property." Much larger than we expected-It wasn't itemized, so I had a quote for work I didn't ask for. I'll ask the neighbors gardeners to come over next time I see them instead.

I need the same tree trimmed every year. Flintridge Tree Service gave me an estimate that was almost twice as much as what I paid last year for the same work. I'm going to use the company that I used last year.

It was like a bait and switch. They promised one thing and then came out and gave me a different estimate. They didn’t give me anything in writing and I wouldn't go along with it.

When I called for an explanation of the estimate I did not get a return call.

When I tried to redeem the Big Deal they did not know what I was talk about.

Companies estimate was too high. $650.00 for what was at best a $450.00 job. With coupon I would have still paid $450.00 which would be no bargain.

The arborist came on time as promised. He explained what needed to be done and gave an estimate. The price was higher than what I was expecting to pay, so I won't be using them at this time.

I asked them to provide me with exactly $400 worth of services. They trimmed a tree that was too high for me. Everything went well.

The service went very well. The staff did a good job and I would definitely hire them again. I had them trim some trees. A crew of about 3-4 technicians came out and completed the job in a couple hours. They did a nice job with the cleanup afterwards. I thought they were very professional and all had on uniforms. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Dealing with them was a pleasure. A representative came by shortly after I purchased the Angie's list deal and met with us a few days ahead of time to look at our trees and discuss what we wanted done. The crew came by a few days later. Their approach was minimalist -- they advised against cutting back our trees too aggressively, saying that in the case of the olive that may have been what caused its die-back in the first place. They took great care not to squash the newly plantings below (one small coyote mint did fall victim to a log or a boot, but it wasn't very visible, and all things considered, losing one tiny plant during a job like this isn't bad). We'll definitely use them the next time our trees need work.
