After he finished installing the earthquake shut -off valve which I purchased through Angie's list big deal for $289. I ask him to check the drain from the heater which was draining water, he gave me 2 scenario either the water pressure from the main water supply is too high or the valve in the heater need replacing. After checking the water pressure he noted that is was right, he decided to fixed the valve, and he even help me drain the water heater. The problem was fixed and I spend $135 for it. He did the job professionally and cleaned up everything. I would definitely use him again.

I joined Angie's List on 4/12/2011 in search of a local plumber with references. I had put off the repair of a leak under my kitchen sink for far too long! Castle Plumbing in Covina caught my eye ....a small company, in my neighborhood with excellent reviews. I left a message and received a return call within minutes :) . I made an appointment with Kelly for the next day. He arrived on time and gave me what seemed to be a reasonable and accurate assessment of the problem. I needed a new faucet and garbage disposal; (his guesstimate on the age of my disposal was "spot on") . He gave me a very fair estimate for the repair and said I had time to shop for the items. I said I would be in touch within the month. I took my time shopping for the faucet and disposal, making my purchase on 5/06/2011. I left a message the next day and again received a quick return call. He remembered me. We scheduled the appointment for 5/13/2011. Kelly was on time, again. The faucet I had selected required extra labor. There was no additional charge. Kelly's work was thorough, professional and clean. He's knowledgable, very pleasant and easy to talk to :) . I highly recommend Castle Plumbing and will definitely use them in the future :) .

I've now used Castle plumbing twice in the last 2 months. I did not write a report the first time but was exceptionally impressed with Kelly's service and knowledge on a couple of challenging plumbing problems on the first visit. However, last week I was traveling for business 2000 miles from home and my toilet inadvertently started over flowing without anyone even flushing it. I knew it was something serious. I was completely comfortable having my wife call Castle even though she would be alone at home. It was the end of the day and was certain he wouldn't get out until the following day but not so. He was there within an hour and had the problem resolved at reasonable price. In fact, while he was there he got on the phone with me and explained all that he had done. He is so professional and after 25 years of turning over plumbers, I've hit the gold. I recommend him without hesitation.

I am very hard to please and they did a great job. Their pricing was reasonable compared to their competitors and also worked long hours to make sure everything was done properly.

I called Kelly and asked if he was available to come by my house the same day because I could smell gas around the oven area. He immediately said that he could be here within several hours, and arrived within the time range he had given me. After I showed him the area in question, he went right to work checking for a gas leak. He found the leak, replaced the gas supply line, and replaced and relocated the gas shut-off valve. I am happy to report that the gas odor is gone. Kelly was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I will definitely call him next time I have need for a plumber.

I am so glad I heard about Angie's List because I now have a plumber that I know does fantastic work, very nice, clean, good prices, guarantees his work and calls a month later to see if everything is still okay. I have a couple more plumbing projects I need to do and Kelly from Castle's Plumbing is who I will call.

We had a number of different plumbing problems in the house and they did a great job on it and were thorough. You get plumbers that give you a line about everything that needs to be re-done and they just fixed the things that needed to be done really well.

This is a my rental property and the tenants had complained about the leaking. I had hired a previous handyman (not from Angie's List) to fix the problem but after several attempts the leaks had not been fixed. So I looked on Angie's list and found Castle Plumbing with excellent reports and I decided to have them come out and give an estimate. They arrived on time were very professional. I decided to have them fix the problem. The final cost was exactly the estimate (no hidden costs!!!). I asked my tenants about the experience with Castle and here is some of what they wrote to me: "...they were nice, moved out shower mat out of the way, put down a drop cloth to keep the floor clean, and the shower/tub was free of dirt when they left. A good experience." On 3/16/2011, I had them come out because the cold water in the shower had started dripping. Here is what the tenant wrote about this experience: "They stopped by today and fixed the drip at no charge. Apparently we've been a bit overzealous at tightening the knobs. Anyway, the guy from Castle Plumbing was friendly and efficient again." I will DEFINITELY use them again and not only at my rental but also at my home.

Kelly came when he said he would and gave me an estimate. We scheduled the work for the next day and, again, he was prompt. He performed the work and cleaned up after himself. After about a week and a half, all the things he repaired and/or installed are performing perfectly well, so I am very satisfied.

When Kelly arrived and opened the box there were missing parts. We went and got 2 new units and Kelly returned and installed them. He did not charge us for the first trip, was courteous and friendly. We were completely satisfied with his professional service and, when we next need a plumber we will be calling Castle plumbing. We also received the Angie's List discount.

Castle Plumbing was responsive and very prompt in their service. He was very informative and gave great tips on how to maintain our toilets and clean drains. We also received an Angie's List discount from him! I highly recommend Castle Plumbing. They are honest, professional, and thorough. They don't cut corners and they are sensitive to customer needs.

Kelley showed up and told me it was actually my drain which was backed up. He tried to unclog it through a small drain pipe, but that didnt work, so he took the toilet out, and did it from that 3" drain. That did the job. Kelley was supper awesome, on time, professional, and reasonably priced. His service made joining Angies list worth it.

My kitchen faucet had very low pressure and the hot water didn't happen. I have had several plumbers out to look at the situation, who told me I was going to have to replumb the entire house. I had requested a phone call when Kelly was on his way to my house, since he had scheduled a window of a few hours for my appointment. I received a call and he was here very promptly. Additionally, after taking his time evaluating the entire situation, Kelly thought it was merely the faucet, so he took it apart, cleaned it and then replaced the cartridge. It works like a charm, for the first time in a year!!! I received a discount for being a member of Angie's list, which was a nice bonus.

We were very pleased with Kelly and the work he performed. He was on time every time he came, was able to explain what was wrong and needed to be done in easy to understand terms and is a true professional. He also put on special " shoe protectors" every time he went in and out from the house, which we very much appreciated as we have off-white carpeting. We were so pleased with him that we asked him to check out our water pressure regulator as we have had some problems for quite a while. On 8/25 he installed a new 1'' pressure regulator with new 1"x 3/4" copper tee and pressure relief valve. What an improvement !! - our showers work great and we only need to flush our upstairs toilet once - we should have done this a long time ago. Kelly was very personable but not too chatty and he never put any pressure on us to have any other work done - we asked him to check out some of the other things. We recommend him very highly and will contact him in the future for any other work that needs to be done.

Kelly provided profession services. He was responsive, punctual and offered fair pricing.

They attached garden hose to water heater to drain. They checked for mineral deposits exiting the water heater. After re-filling the tank, they came into house to ensure water from tub and faucets were working properly. They were prompt, courteous and very helpful to answer questions.

This is my first experience using Angie's list and I'm glad I signed up. Castle Plumbing is awesome! Kelly is very professional, fairly priced, and a really nice guy. He's a master at his profession and changed out the water lines so quickly yet thoroughly and was very neat and clean. He really cares about the work he does. In one of the bathrooms, he noticed the toilet had a small leak from the back of the bowl and the bolt/washers were rusting. He alerted me to it and offered assistance when I plan to change it out. He wiped the area clean and provided fresh white cloths so that it would not drip on the floor. My fiance and I were very surprised. Impressive. We will definitely be using his services again and stored his contact info in my blackberry. I highly recommend his services without hesitation as it is very uncommon to find a plumber you can trust and recommend. Thanks Kelly! Much appreciated.

Called office at 8:10, Kelly called back at 8:16, said he can be at my home within the hour. Arrived promptly with Omar at 8:45, gave me a very reasonable estimate. The job was finished at 9:10. My water supply valve to a toilet was leaking. They replaced it with a separate new valve and supply line. I also had them replace my toilet fill valve unit inside the toilet tank, since the older unit was also problematic. They included a new rubber flapper to replace my cheaper plastic version. I'm impressed with how quickly they responded to my call. They were very professional and polite. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves with great care. I told them I'd recommend them to my neighbors without any reservation!

Kelly was punctual and professional. He gave me an estimate (no service call fee), and even though there was a glitch, the estimate and final total remained true. The valve stems that I purchased in a kit were the wrong size to have the fixtures fit flush to the shower wall. He made a quick trip to his truck and problem solved. He was very conscientious about the quality of his work and when he left, one couldn't even tell there was a plumber in the area. I would hire them back in a heartbeat.

We knew we had a leak by the sound of rushing water in the pipes and observing the water meter. However the leak itself was hard to find as it was inside the wall/slab foundation of our guest house. I joined Angie's List to see if I could find a reliable plumber to tackle the problem and found good reviews of Kelly/Castle Plumbing. Kelly responded promptly to a message left on his answering service at night and came the day on time to detect the leak. His recommendation (seconded by a family friend knowledgeable about construction) was to not jackhammer out the slab to find the leak but to instead bypass the old pipes and by removing the necessary drywall, install new copper plumbing to the sink, toilet and shower in the affected area. He showed up on time the next day with a helper and commenced work despite it being during 3 days of constant rain. He had to dig a pit about 3' x 2' x 2' under paved flagstones to find the incoming pipe and cap it. He then installed the new piping on schedule and cleaned up thoroughly after. Kelly is very professional and polite and delivered on time and for the stated price. Up front he stated that it was a fixed price no matter how complex the job became once he started taking out the drywall. While installing the shutoff valve he located the pipe a little too far away from the exterior wall and when I objected he rerouted it per my request without any complaint whatsoever. Excellent job overall and I would recommend him un hesitatingly. I went with the first bid I got since he seemed to know what he was doing, so I don't know how he compares price wise, but the family friend felt it was a fair price for the work involved. One note, Kelly doesn't do drywall or painting or flagstone pavement repair, so I have to get other contractors to finish those tasks.

This company was referred to me by a family member who has used them in the past and has been satisfied with the quality of service they provide. Being a single female I usually encounter plumbers that try and take advantage of my lack of knowledge in regards to home repairs. This is the first time I felt comfortable with a plumbing company and felt like I was not being taken advantage of. Not only were they professional but they also took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my sink, garbage disposal, and drain lines and explain the repair process to me step by step. I really appreciated the fact that they explained the repairs to me in a way that I would understand them. Also, when they were finished they cleaned up their work area and left my kitchen pretty clean. My faucet and garbage disposal are working great and I didn't break the bank in the repairs! I will definitely use them for all future repairs and reccomend their services to friends and family.

I called Kelly about 10am this morning, he made an appointment to come out before 1pm. He was early, gave a good price and had the work done by 2pm. He gave me some good advise and I would absolutely hire him again in the future.

We are very very pleased with the work with they have done. They are very clean and don't leave a mess. They are very prompt and very responsive. They have always been responsible, trustworthy, and are very reasonably priced.
