wonderful professional service. When I had a line going down the center of the living room a few months later an installer was sent out right away to see what had happened. It turned out to be the glue that came through. It had never happened before and was new to them. They fixed it right away with no hassles.

The representative was professional and cordial and promised to complete an estimate on a stair runner after we picked out carpeting. We did so within a week and waited for the estimate. This all happened in January and it is now mid April and we have still not received an estimate. I was told that they were busy so I allowed some time to pass and called at the beginning of March to inquire. I called on a Thursday and was promised the quote by Monday or Tuesday of the following week but never received anything. I confirmed that they had our correct email too. Looks like our job was not large enough to merit any interest. We've gone with another company who provided a quote and completed the job promptly. I'm providing a review because if a similar review had been available to me about this company it would have been very helpful to me and hopefully will be to someone else.

I spent quite a bit of time in the store looking at the interesting products and establishing a customer-vendor relationship with a woman there... I took home some patterns and was in the final decision making stages, so she came out and measured and was going to get back to me on the price... Never heard from her again, even after calling and leaving messages reminding her that I'd like the quote.

I'm very disappointed. I was really hoping to hire this company to install new flooring and refinish my floors. I called 4 times to get my quote and was told that I would hear back, nothing as of yet. It's been three weeks. If you didn't want to do my job you just need to communicate. I don't understand the lack of professionalism.

They were very polite and professional. They took a lot of time to give me samples and inform me of upcoming sales to give me a little bit of a discount.

I called Carousel looking for someone to repair my mother's brand new carpet which had been "marked" by her dog. Despite it being brand new and shampooed 3x the smell would not go away so we decided to find someone to cut out the smelly part and have it replaced with extra carpet that we had. I called Terry and despite the fact that we didn't buy the original carpet from them and they really only sell new carpet and happily fix any carpet that they install, Terry bent over backwards to try to make it work for us. When I told him that we were in Sierra M**** (right next to Pasadena) he said, Oh! you're close...you're family! I was blown away by the kindness and amazing customer service. I will post another review after the work is done but given the wonderful way I was treated I would give Carousel any flooring business that I will ever need simply based on this experience.

I was very pleased from my first experience in the store when they let me browse to my hearts content with no pressure. They were very professional - came on the date and time as specified and did an excellent job. There were some small changes that had to be made and they were very flexible which I appreciated very much. I would definitely recommend them.

The carpet installation was flawless. Work was done on time and all people were courteous.

The people were great. Made great recommendations that have worked out wonderfully. Moved all the furniture for me.

Marv at Carousel was knowledgeable about his products and absolutely the least pushy salesman of all time. (That's a huge compliment.) He helped me make my decision on carpet choices without any pressure at all.His installation team was quick and thorough. The carpet looks gorgeous. We couldn't be more pleased.

We had long been looking to replace our once-white carpet with laminate to match the flooring in the living room. After browsing many products and many stores, we finally decided the time had come. Carousel was our top choice - they had been patient with us - and never pushy - while we tried to make up our minds over the past few years. The store is immaculate - and features the prettiest flooring (carpet, marmoleum, laminate, and more) of the highest quality. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Arturo Garcia helped us find the perfect match for our old Wisonart and an exquisite tan wool area rug. The price for the flooring and installation was incredibly reasonable - competitive across the board. When it came time for the installation, we could not have had a better experience. Greg (who can carry so much flooring/carpet all by himself - he must be descended from Hercules) began and completed the work on schedule. His work was neat and clean, and our home was tidy at the end of each work day. At the end of this 2-day installation, I arrived home to find Arturo and Marvin in the room, along with Greg, helping place the area rug underneath our heavy immovable platform bed. Now that was teamwork! They were very particular about the placement, and wanted to make sure it was perfect. This company takes great pride in the quality of their work, and cares about their customers. We give them our highest recommendation, and will go there again.

I saw Arturo the sales rep. he was very helpful in helping me choose a carpet that was exactly what I wanted . he came to our home the next day and measured. We ordered the carpet and within a few weeks the carpet was installed. The workers were wonderful and finished the job in only one day. the job was suppose to take 2 to 3 days. The workers moved everything and cleaned up after the job.. They are the best. The carpet looks beautiful and the whole process was very stress free.

I cannot say enough about how fantastic and different the carousel floors experience was from start to finish. We worked with Terry who was nice and patient enough to go through at least a dozen samples with us and offer recommendations. He even delivered the samples to our home. The choices can be overwhelming! I soon started to learn how different these guys are from typical carpet stores and really appreciated Terry picking out high quality carpets over the decent looking, but will look ratty after a couple years, ones! Installation was smooth and they went the extra mile by taking out some annoying creaks and leveling issues on our subfloor before installing the carpet. Now, the upstairs is plush and a joy to walk on. Our stairs look awesome and we get complements on them all the time (We took a picture for Terry and our stairs are now featured on their website!) I didn't even think of how pattern could really make the install complex. I didn't have to worry, everything lines up and is gorgeous. The one concern I had early on was with price as I didn't want to overpay. After I did an apples to apples comparison, Carousel was competitive. Not the least expensive bid we got, but no hidden crap and ultimately worth every penny.

I think they did a good job. I would use them again if i needed flooring.

I worked with Chuck, who came out to my place to looks things over, measure the flooring, provide an estimate, and schedule the installation. Greg is the master installer; heard he was the best and they were right; received immediate comments on how well the installation was by plumbers, who came in the following day to reconnect toilet,sink, and tub. Visited the store initially to get ideas about the carpet and padding I wanted. It was an informative and helpful visit. Within a few days after that, someone came to my house and measured, and also brought samples of the color and carpet again so I could see it in the master bedroom setting. The estimated price was emailed that day, and we set up a date for installation. Installation was smooth sailing. All staff involved from the initial visit to the store was professional, courteous, and prompt.

We found Carousel on Angie's list and based on the reports we went to their showroom. They were extremely friendly and helpful and allowed us to take some samples home to see how they would look. We had them come out to our home to inspect the current floor, measure the kitchen and laundry room and give us an estimate; they showed up on time and were again very friendly and professional, explaining the process and approximately how long it would take to order the material and how long it would take to install. They called us several days later and we agreed on a price and installation date. When the installer arrived (on time) he started working by removing the old flooring. He informed us he would not be able to install the new flooring on the old sub-flooring. We were a bit surprised since we believed they had seen the sub-flooring when they first came out to inspect the floor. We spoke with the manager and he apologized and gave us a discount on installing a new sub-flooring but that was an additional $500 dollars that we were not expecting to pay. The installer put in the new sub-flooring and then told us they had not measured correctly and he did not have enough flooring to complete the job. We talked with the manager and he again apologized, told us it would take several days to order some more flooring, and we would have to schedule another day to complete the job. We were a bit frustrated since we were expecting the job to be completed by the weekend, since we were having friends over. The entire time the installer and the other people at Carousel were very professional. They called us and scheduled a new date to have the floor completed. We had to change our schedule so that one of us could be home the following week to have the kitchen floor complete. In the end we love the new floor and the installer was extremely nice and professional, making sure to clean up completely each evening before he left. We understand that sometimes things are missed (the old sub-flooring) and appreciated the fact that they gave us a discount on the new sub-flooring; had they told us during the initial inspection we would have gladly paid full price. The second mistake (not ordering enough flooring to complete the job) was a bit more frustrating and believe that Carousel could done something for the inconvenience to us of having to live with a partially completed floor for a week and forcing us to change our schedule. I gave them a "C" on the price because I like to know up front the price of the completed job and don't appreciate finding out later that the price is higher. I gave them a "B" on overall experience because of the two mistakes. I think I would recommend them to friends, but warn them of the issues we had.

They did a great job, from helping us pick out the best product for our needs to installing it and making sure all the tiles were perfectly lined up. We definitely would use them again.

The installation had its challenges but Terry made sure that the job was done right and to our satisfaction. I would hire this company again.

I called for an estimate and although it's hard to convey what you want on the phone, Marv drove all the way to the South Bay (from Pasadena) with samples that really fit what we were looking for. I wanted the carpet in by a certain day, and they bent over backwards to accommodate me, even discussing it in the evening off work hours. Their price was slightly more than another estimate, but I felt much comfortable with them since the other place was one of the big "box' stores. If I could have given them a B+/A- for price, I would have since they were not that much more expensive. Overall it was a great experience and I have no regrets. If we do more carpeting (or any kind of flooring) Carousel will be the first place I call.

Chuck was the sales person who helped us with our flooring purchase. He was really great about calling us to make sure we were in the know about shipping and when the flooring would be in to pick up. It was never an issue that our project was small compared to many of the projects that Carousel handles. We were treated professionally and courteously throughout our business with the store.

I went to the showroom during my lunch break to browse carpets for my new home. Marv helped me out and let me bring home samples to show my husband. After I decided on a carpet, he came out about 20 miles to our home to take measurements. The installers did a beautiful job. I had a closet with built-in shelves whose walls came down to the floor, making the installation of carpet in there difficult. But the installer, Jose, meticulously cut and laid the carpet down so that it looked like it went underneath the walls of the shelves. Based on the opinion of others and my own presumptions, the price seemed a little high for carpet. But what do I know? I've never purchased carpet before. I did, however, get the upgraded moisture resistant padding and a high-quality carpet. It's a good thing we did too because we recently had a leaky roof due to the storm, causing water to come into our house through the walls and onto the carpet. The price certainly justifies the quality product and excellent customer service I received from Carousel, as well as the quality craftsmanship of the work.

We were originally going to go to a big box store for our carpeting but our painter suggested we find a company whose installers would be more careful with our newly repainted home. We found Carousel on Angie's List and are so glad that we did. After our initial visit to the showroom, Marv came out that afternoon to measure our place and within two weeks our job was completed -- now that's service! We could not be happier with Carousel Custom Floors for their quality, professionalism and attention to detail.
