It went very well, I was very happy with the results and with the whole experience, they came in and did exactly what needed to be done, very professional and the contractor James Chantler explained everything thoroughly, very nice person and very professinonal.

Description of Work: Foundation inspection. It went. The company gave me an honest opinion and did not try to sell me something I didn't need.

Description of Work: Upon purchase I provided potential scheduling dates. Merchant responded with dates nowhere near or similar in day to what would work for me. When I told them those dates didn't work, Merchant indicated they would get back to me and never did. I attempted to contact Merchant through Angie's List messenger and phone never receiving a response.

Description of Work: They conducted an inspection of my chimney & fireplace, made recommendations regarding what was needed to operate in safely as well as prevention items & longer term needs - in other words they provided phases in work could be completed to achieve fully operable status. |They provided a written report electronically later. It went great! I had purchased my home four years ago & didn't have the fireplace inspected as a part if the home inspection. It is very helpful to know how to prioritize the needed repairs.

Description of Work: I asked them out for an inspection and chimney cleaning. They did a great job cleaning and the inspection was very enlightening. The men who came out were very polite and knowledgeable. No mess was made when cleaning the chimney.

Description of Work: They cleaned and inspected my chimney. |The cleaning was very well done, and I was informed by pictures and in |writing the repairs that need to be made in order for my fireplace to be |safe to us. The repairs will have to be done at a later date.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 deal for a Chimney Sweeping and Inspection.

Description of Work: They sent the chimney sweepers and they did their job in a timely manner, then they said when they were up on the roof the chimney was coming loose from the roof of the house. I had someone coming out to paint my house and I had them check the roof before they would start to paint. I asked them to check the chimney because I was was told it was coming apart from the house, they had someone go up on the roof and said the chimney was solid and that there was no problem with it and that it was not loose and falling away from the roof. Boston Brick and snd Stone had written me an invoice for a job on the chimney for $5,000.00 worth of work that needed to be done on the chimney. They asked for 10% up front, what really bothered me was that they cashed the $500.00 deposit and I had not even authorized the work. Usually they give you 24 to 48 hours to be sure you are going ahead with the job, what really upset me was that they cashed the check they asked for as a deposit for the job as soon as they got back to their office. To top it off they submitted 2 checks to my bank, when I questioned them they did not know how 2 checks were submitted and had me going through hoops stating they had not gotten the money that was withdrawn from my account. Finding out later the problem was on their side all the time, for some reason they submitted my check and also submitted an electronic check for the same amount and stated they did not know why they did it. They kept having me try figuring this problem out because they stated they had not gotten the payment of $500.00 and yet it had been withdrawn from my bank account, bottom line I do not like the way they do business!

Description of Work: I need my chimney repaired Boston Brick and stone came out and gave me a wonderful estimate. The estimate its self looked beautiful it was a spreadsheet with photographs and it just looked great. I was unable to use them because the price was higher then I could afford but they seem to be of great quality and if you can afford them I would recommend them.

Description of Work: They vacuumed the inside of the fire place. They put a camera and showed me cracks on the brick work and explained the work that needed to be done to gave a safe working fire place.
