Mr Adkins was on site twice a day; in the morning when the workers started and at the end of the day to observe their work. His workers are very good and took care to clean up their mess which includes a lot of fine white powder when they sand the Venetian plaster. The finished work was excellent and smooth. I am so glad Mr Adkins recommended the Venetian plaster coating instead of the typical drywall compound coating. The Venetian plaster is harder, looks a lot better than drywall compound and gives a much better finish for painting. Adkins drywall did such an excellent job I had them come back and take down wall paper in a bedroom, patch and add a coat of venetian plaster to finish the four walls of the bedroom. It also looks great. Mr. Adkins is one of the few contractors that do a great job of supervising and follow - up, creating excellent results. Adkins workers also were most accommodating to another set of workers from Technospeak who were installing video/tv cables in the same room. And the Adkins workers cleaned up debris that Technopeak left without complaining. My experience with Adkins Drywall was excellent and I strongly recommend them and their work.

They skimmed and plastered and finish plastered with a Venetian style hard surface that was way more than we expected and it looks absolutely fantastic. The huge ceiling (14x28) is uniform and completely smooth and in keeping with the old plaster look of the rest of the house. A wonderful job!

Hire Rock Atkinson. This is the 5th time I've used him for drywall at my house, originally for a new-construction garage, then two remodeled bedrooms, then a living room, the new and patched ceilings in the back house, and finally, this last job in the house (in the kitchen). Rock is punctual, gives an accurate and quick quote, and all his employees are professionals, and many have been with him well over 10 years. Rock has special crews for hanging and finishing, and they're all great at what they do. They make a mess in the process, but clean up well, and are careful to mask, sweep, and lay-down protective coverings on the floor when necessary. Rock inspects the work himself daily, and he usually finds a few areas where things can be done a little better. The final inspection is quite detailed, as he usually drags is forearms along the walls to make sure its smooth, and there are no edges dips or humps. Everything is fixed, and he leaves nothing undone. You'll be pleased with the professionalism and the quality of the work, hire him.
