MARTHA'S HOUSE CLEANING

I called to meet with her for an appointment instead she showed up with the cleaning tools. I didn?t appreciate that because I wanted to talk to her first to find out about her fees and I wanted to explain to her the job that needed to be done. I wanted to obviously know her cleaning abilities and her background as far as the business expertise is concerned. When I called her for the interview that morning she came out with 6 people ready to start the job. It really caught me off-guard. I let them clean the house. She charged $200 for the job but you get what you pay for. I was gone and when I came back to check with her and the cleaning crew they had already left. They had finished the job. They told they would track things up and that seemed reasonable. At later point of time I wanted them to come back out. I wanted them to go over what they had not done properly earlier. I left the key with her son who was also doing some contracting work for us. She and her crew came out. She did a supervisory kind of a role when the crew did the work. They completed the work. When I came in later in the day I looked at the property and she had gone before I could talk to her about the job, etc. Some of the work was improved upon but few things that we needed to be done weren?t properly done. I wasn?t upset as I knew I would get what I paid for. Our house is a rental house. Yesterday as we cleaning the house we found out that there were places that weren?t even touched. We won?t rush back to hire them again. I didn?t mind paying more. We were cleaning it all. The walls weren?t touched by them. They had to make corrections. They were pleasant to work with. They didn?t follow the instructions like other professional group would. They didn?t understand the work before the crew came out to do the work. The price was good but the work was according to the price. I didn?t mind paying more to get more jobs done. If I want some general cleaning to be done then I would use them again but I would not use them for deep cleaning.

I joined Angies list because I live out of state and I needed to find someone that cleaned by my mothers house. I called several numbers but I liked Martha and her willingness to help me out the best. She was willing to allow me to send her a check in the mail without knowing me and let me set a date up with her to surprise my Mom. She and her crew showed up on time and did such a fantastic job that my Mom hired her to come in once a month and clean for her regularly. My Mom has been looking for someone to help her with the cleaning for a couple years and has never found someone she felt comfortable with coming into her home. She loves Martha and her crew. I cant thank her enough! My Mom is a very particular person when it comes to cleaning and she still hasnt stopped talking about how "shiny" her home is!!

I had a problem when I asked Martha to sign a letter stating she was a contractor not an employee. She refused for fear of? But walked out of my house. She cancelled my weekly cleaning twice, saying her girl was sick and not telling me until I CALLED her at the last minute. She completely miscalculated the original cleaning cost, and asked me for another $40 on top of the $100 we had agreed to. They worked hard so I paid without protest. But I felt she was intentionally underbidding to get the job. When I made it clear that she was a CONTRACTOR and must pay her own employees' taxes, she became unwilling to work for me. You draw your own conclusions. In a word UNPROFESSIONAL.

THIS COMPANY DOES AN EXCELLENT CLEANING JOB ON MY HOME. THEY ARE VERY DETAILED ORIENTED AND THOROUGH. THIS COMPANY CAN REALLY BE TRUSTED I LEFT MONEY ON MY DRESSER AND THE GIRLS DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER IT. THIS IS A COMPANY WELL TRUSTED.
