+ -1 moreMy contact with Home Depot was good however the company they contracted out to was not. I wanted to change my appointment time so I called Home Depot. They tried to connect me with the AC company which place us on hold for serveral mins. Home Depot appologized and provided me with the direct number to that company. I called a half hour later and when they answered I was immediately placed on hold for over 5 mins. I called back, the young girl did apologize and said she was having trouble with her computer and placed me on hold again. Another person came on the line, I explained I just needed to change my appoinment time. She stated I had to be transferred to another department which she did. When they answered I decided I did not want this company installing my AC if they couldn't even do something as simple as changing my appointment time. Art
Description of Work: This was actually the Home Depot on Washington Blvd. in Whittier. We wanted an estimate to install Heating and Air Conditioning which was never installed or quoted because of my negative contact with the contractor, not Home Depot. I entered $9000 because this field was a requirement and this is probable close to what it would have cost.

+ -1 moreI THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE STOVE. I THOUGHT THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY'RE AN A BECAUSE THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG AND WHY THEY ARE DOING IT. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE THEN.
Description of Work: THE COMPUTER ON THE HEATING SYSTEM OF THE STOVE WAS REPLACED.

+ -1 moreIT WAS OKAY. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME WITH THEM, BUT IT WAS OKAY. IT WASN'T THE BEST BECAUSE IT WAS BUSINESS BEFORE PLEASURE. HE WAS FLIRTING WITH ME INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF THE BUSINESS.
Description of Work: IT WAS A REPLACEMENT OF AN OLD HEATER WITH ASBESTOS. THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE WHOLE UNIT, AND THEY HAD TO REPLACE ALL THE DUCTS ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP AND THE WHOLE FURNACE.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE OKAY. I GUESS I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I WAS PRETTY MUCH SATISFIED WITH THEM. THE DOOR IS STILL WORKING. IT DIDN'T BREAK DOWN SINCE THEN.

+ -1 moreIT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE PEOPLE WHO PERFORMED THE WORK WERE EXCELLENT. I ACTUALLY PURCHASED THE DOORS FROM HOME DEPOT, BUT A CONTRACTOR WAS HIRED THROUGH THEM FOR INSTALLATION.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED THE OLD DOORS IN THE HOUSE.

+ -1 moreTHE FINISHED PRODUCT WAS GOOD. THEY DID EVERYTHING IN A TIMELY MANNER. WE FOUND LOWER PRICES FOR THE WORK THAT THEY DID, BUT WE STILL WANTED TO USE HOME DEPOT.

+ -1 moreOUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GOOD. FOR A WHILE HOME DEPOT WAS MY SECOND HOME. SOMETIMES I WOULD GOT TO HOME DEPOT ABOUT TEN TIMES IN ONE WEEKEND. I FEEL THAT IF IT WAS NOT FOR SUCH A HUGE STORE AND GOOD SERVICE OUR HOUSE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AS NICE.
Description of Work: MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN REMODELING OUR HOME FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS. WE HAVE NOT HIRED ANY ONE TO DO THE WORK FOR US. WE HAVE BEEN OUR OWN HANDY PEOPLE. HOME DEPOT HAS BEEN THE STORE FOR US. WE RECENTLY PURCHASED CLOSET DOORS AND THE SERVICE HAS BEEN GOOD. I STILL FEEL THAT THEY NEED MORE PEOPLE IN THE AISLES FOR FASTER SERVICE.
