 + 0 moreIt is obvious Mr. Urness recommended someone whom had not worked for him personally.
Description of Work: Tim Urness (Chico, CA) did not actually perform the work. He highly recommended a handyman type whom was a disaster. i can't recall the guys name but does not matter. He did floor tiling. Talked too much. Didn't know basic trade skills.

 + -1 morecHe handed buying and replacing all the alliances. He brought the carpet, electrical, plumbers in to do their job after checking with us......... My children would NOT let me see the place until it was finished. It was so awful I promised I'd never go there until it was cleared up and finished it was so bad. He never made a decision without contacting my Son who handled the entire mess... and he was wonderful to work with my son and daughter claimed. He did get a bit behind at one point....... and had to finish something else he was working on before us...... he was upset with himself.... much more than we were. iAll in all he did a wonderful job and this fall I plan to have him work on my house. I am sure I will have a very good experience with mine as he did with the MONSTER MESS of the condo.
Description of Work: He cleaned and repaired and took a condo that had been completely destroyed by a group of homeless people who were allowed to live in the condo for 3 months more before they were legally removed by the police and the attorneys. In that three months all doors, windows,appliances were completely ruined and had to be replaced. He painted ALL the walls after washing off all the ugly messages left behind. He removed all the carpets that were filthy........anything that could be destroyed and were.... were taken out of the condo and replaced with new ones. He had to replace all the kitchen cabinets and clean up a mess left on the balcony . The list goes on and on........ He did such a grand job we were able to sell the condo very quickly because he had worked so h all of the rooms it looked like a NEW condo.

Description of Work: We used Urness Construction to take out a cabinet above our refrigerator and he mounted a light in the hallway.

 + 3 moreFrom the start the whole process went very well. Tim came and was honest and bid the cost of the job very reasonably. He brought all his own power tools and did well listening to all of our wants and needs. He was more then willing to work around our schedule and finished the job in a very timely manner. We originally had hired him to do the closets but after he finished we were so happy with had him come back to install some windows and doors for us. I will be hiring him again very soon to help with some tiling we need done.
Description of Work: We had Tim help us with some remodel work. He replaced all of our windows with new dual pane windows, put in a beautiful front door, put in french doors in replace of our ugly old aluminum slider. He even did custom closet shelving in our master bedroom!
