It's been six months since I hired them to fixed my dishwasher but until now they did not fixed it. I will never refer them to purchase a services.

Superior service. They had nothing but expert technicians, they know how to handle the problem with a attitude of customer comes first. I highly recommend them to people and catch man area, very professional, honest and solve my problem.

They were good and helpful. I would use them again.

TI contacted Igor, made an appointment, and although he was late for this 3 hour window , he did call me and let me know so I was prepared. He diagnosed the issue with my ice dispenser quickly, ordered the part, and called me back right away to come replace it. In the meantime, i had to leave town to care for my elderly parents and was not available for his calls or to schedule the appointment, but when i finally made it back (two weeks later) he was understanding, and polite. (This time he was able to come earlier than his appt window, but again called first.) The replacement part was installed quickly, the price was fair, and the service good. Also, I would like to add that Igor came to my house clean and neat. I have had repairmen who are grimy and smell awful, and track dirt into my home, but he came clean and left the work space clean when he left. My price included the replacement parts, so it was a fair value. I will definitely use them for my next repair, (hoping I won't need one soon!).

On time, order parts as promised and deliver on time

This guy comes in the evening. You call and he comes the same day. Our ice maker had issues. He got it unstuck and he was ready to call us if that's still under warranty. The price is reasonable.

It's crucial to ask questions on the front end about the appliances you buy, will they fit in the space, what the exchange/return policy is, whether you need to keep the original box for each appliances and anything else that will insure your purchase goes smoothly. The Viking and Bosch appliances were installed in my condo. We bought all Jenn- Air and I believe Miele appliances for our new house we are restoring. Dennis is a second generation friend to the owner. His father and the owner both immigrated from Russia.They are very good and honest people. I appreciate and respect people who come here and make something with their lives. My father did the same from Poland many years ago after WWII. He is very helpful and normally works out of the Studio City store. The prices are good. Just a little side note - Find out how to work your new appliances when the installers are there. Try them make sure you know the procedure with your new appliances.

I would not recommend them because the over charge. They were here less than 40 minutes and charged us $180 for labor.

The actual fix of the dishwasher went fine and the repair man was very nice.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I called Universal because of a broken clothes washer. I asked (naturally) about cost and was told that there would be a $59 charge for coming to my residence and inspecting the machine but that the charge would be waived if I had the repairs made. I asked about price and WAS TOLD that the total cost generally would not exceed $129.00. The service provider arrived early. When I pulled up at my house he was preparing to leave even though he was 25 minutes early. He inspected the machine and announced that the price would be $255.00. He said the $129 only covered labor only not parts. (Interesting that the max labor charge was immediately used). I objected citing the information I received when I called Universal. The servicer first denied that anyone at the company would quote $129.00. I did not react well to being called a liar. Then the provider said that the and quot;girlsand quot; at the office were not mechanics and could not possibly give any estimate. When I continued to object he stated that I did not understand what I heard. I was in a pickle and really needed the washing machine fixed so I told the servicer to proceed. The washing machine worked for one load. I will amend this review if the machine breaks in the near future.

The salesman was very knowledgeable. He helped me a lot with rebates that were associated with the appliances that I purchased. He was pretty good about mentioning which ones had rebates and which ones had deals going on. There was a newer version of a cooktop coming out in a couple of weeks and he managed to order the newer one for me, so I was happy with that.

Setting up appointment was east, they confirmed appointment the evening before the service date. Service person was on time and fixed the problem. However, he wouldn't take the coupon for $30 off service since I hadn't indicated I would be using the coupon when I called. Doesn't say you need to indicate you are using coupon when making appointment.

Came within two hours of when I called and came right on time. Quickly determined the problem, had parts in his van. Job was completed in a very timely fashion. Price for the job was reasonable.

The service men arrived on time for the estimate. They were very precise and accurate. They gave us an exact time they would arrive for the work, and actually arrived at that time. They completed the work and cleaned up after themselves.

I thought they were very professional and that their pricing was good.

I had called because my ice maker was not working in my GE fridge, Joseph was dispatched and arrived punctually. He literally fiddled around with the ice maker, said I needed a new one but he had fixed it for no. I paid the $59.00 service fee and was actually quite pleased. OhOh, May 16 rolls around and the ice maker has completely defrosted and melted all over the freezer ruining god alone knows how much food. I call back the service center who promptly tell me that it sounds like a differant problem and will have to charge me yet another service fee, completely negating the last one I paid. Sounds to me like the same problem and I was being extorted. No thanks I'll go with a reputable company I know like Sears.

I was pleased with the service. The serviceman was fantastic. He went beyond explaining what I needed. He did a really great job. I got other quotes. I would absolutely use them again.

The technician was very neat, polite and punctual. I was very pleased with the quality of service I received and thought that they were competitively priced.

I would be comfortable hiring them again. They took over from Maytag that was doing a terrible job. They have taken care of us well for 3-4 years. They are reliable and I trust them.

Maida was my salesperson and she was fantastic. She must have spent two to three hours with me looking for the perfect appliance to fit my style and budget. Universal was even able to hold my appliances indefinitely until I was ready for them and to remove the old appliances at the beginning of the remodel for no extra charge. The installers could use some customer service training, but when approached were as helpful and accomodating as could be. Overall an excellent experience.

The service by Universal Appliance was excellent. I called them after another repair company told me I needed a new compressor for a fee of $850. I decided to get a second opinion because the previous repairman said it could have also been the relay (but he was sure I needed a new compressor). Universal Appliance scheduled me the next morning, Joseph and his assistant Al showed up right on time and immediately knew what the problem was. He diagnosed a problem relay which a lot less than the compressor to repair. He also fixed a couple of other little things on my refrigerator. He was very professional and explained to me everything he was doing. I am glad I called Universal Appliance for a second opinion. I think it is also to their credit that they are a Maytag-approved repair center.

A couple of weeks into our kitchen remodel we visited Universal Appliance. I never would have purchased anything from them because of their poor reviews on Angie's List. However, they're the closest dealer for the Blue Star stove and hood I was ordering. Do NOT use this company. I'm not even finished with them and feel compelled to write this review so that no one else will go through what we're going through. We were asked all the right questions to have the right hood ordered, and it didn't happen. A built-in hood arrived instead of a chimney. They didn't even bother to deliver, I had to drive out to Van Nuys and pick it up in my van. My contractor informed me it was wrong, so I returned it. Universal did offer to pick it up, but I'm way beyond the trusting point. They do NOT return calls. This is not just the initial salesperson but every person we deal with there. I would be happier if we could just get a real date on when we can expect the hood, but it's all been a mystery no matter how many calls we place and demands we make. No real information has ever been delivered. The silly and sickening part is we had a great contractor who delivered on the quality and timeliness of his work and was completely done in 7 weeks. However, we still do not have a functioning kitchen because we have no range or hood. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. BEWARE!!!!

Unbelievably well. We had been to a good number of stores and had mixed reactions---not a lot of product on display, sales staff often didn't know their products, extra charges for everything, didn't install their own products, etc. This was the first place that seemed to have a lot on display and a sales staff that actually knew what they were talking about. Their delivery people arrived on time in a two hour window !!!! They were respectful of our property--including the granite topped island opposite the refrigerator, and did an excellent job of installation. The installation/delivery guys were neat and hauled the old fridge away. The prices were reasonable.

Overall a great experience. Universal sent Boris out to fix the washer. He fixed it. The next day the problem persisted. They honestly reported that it was beyond their capability at that point and promptly refunded my money, except the service charge to come out and look at the problem. Samantha was exceedingly honest and helpful. I would use them again, knowing that they will do their best.
