They were good workers, punctual and very pleasant. They do very good work and paid attention to detail and didn’t rush the job. I would definitely hire them again. Best paint job we have had.

My former boss and friend recommended Patrick to me some time back. I would highly recommend Hand Painted Houses to anyone, and have already done so. The guys are professional and know what they're doing, and they're friendly and easy to work with. The job was done on time and looks great.

I wanted a dark brown with black trim initially and was quickly talked out of it because of the redding heat. I felt completely rushed in making my decision and was shown a color against a mint green house that appeared to be a darker brown and when it was done, it was a ugly tan. I am now stuck with this color and ver un happy with the work. There is paint spray on my roof, trim of house is sloppy and even after having them come back out to repaint one entire wall outside because it was painted and then caulked then rolled and looked horrible, they still did not fix all the trim. Overall, it looks like a job amateurs would do.

The only problem I have with Hand Painted Houses is that on this particular job I am doing their price was outside my budget. That being said, I regret not being able to afford them at this time because I feel they would do a much superior job compared to the company I'm forced to go with.

Start to finish...Professional! Walked grounds, presented detailed contract, competitive price, great crew, kept grouds clean, Excellent work! Highly recommend!

Pat from HPH was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and responsible with my home and property. He was timely and professional. I was very happy with the work he did and would recommend him highly. He began with a detailed written estimate. He gave me weekly updates as to when it was my turn on his list. He referred me to a great handyman to fix some of the damaged siding. Once he began the work was done expertly and quickly. At one point he had to stop because of a pending storm. The handyman had replaced some wood from the pergola. Pat came on his day off, Sunday, to put some primer on the bare wood before the storm arrived. He showed this attention to detail throughout the entire job. The paint job is very beautiful and we are very pleased with the outcome

When we first contacted Hand Painted Houses, we were able to immediately set up an appointment for a discussion of the project. Patrick Mahoney was extremely informative and professional during that meeting. He gave a detailed description of what needed to be done and why, as well as information about the products that he would be using. Within a couple of days he provided us with a bid and a contract that outlined the work his company would be doing for us. We found the price he quoted to be very reasonable, especially considering all the prep work they would be doing. They were able to start the project even earlier than they originally thought, which is something we were happy about. The friendly crew arrived right on time and got right to work. I was VERY impressed about all the time and effort they put into the prep work. Their attention to detail is exemplary. Patrick provided us with several color samples/suggestions which was a big help in choosing which ones we wanted. It was also reassuring to hear that he only uses high quality products. The project took about one week. They made sure they didn't damage any of the plants around the house or get paint on anything that wasn't supposed to have paint on it. They walked around several times making sure they hadn't missed anything, and they even did a few extra things like painting the vents on our roof and the address numbers on our house. I wish you could see the result--it's beautiful and we are totally satisfied! We highly recommend this company for any of your painting needs!

Patrick gave us an estimate and suggested where to go to pick out paint. He also suggested we buy sample colors, so we could put large samples on the walls inside and out.. Great idea! We bought 3 shades for outside. We bought 4 different colors for inside then I went back and bought 2 more. We love all the colors we choose. The first day they "moved in". Set up work area and made a plan. Moved the patio furniture, took all the hanging items down ( bird feeders, chimes, misc.) even taped nails for house numbers making it easier to replace them. Everything was cleaned,caulked and primed before painting. Everyone on the crew was kind, friendly courteous and professional. Great with the dog too. They took down the blinds. The only thing we did was take down our pictures. We have a couple large items we knew would be going right back on walls where they were, those places were not filled in thank you. Interior was done in one day and furniture put back so we could live in it while the touch up was done the next day. When the exterior was finished they replaced the shutters and put things back where they had been.Great job. We would higher them again in an a heart beat. EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL.

Pat and his crew showed up early, set up their work area, and started in. They did a fantastic job over the next 2 days, especially having to deal with the 110 degree heat. They completely picked up after themselves. The house trim and railing turned out great. Pat used high quality Kelly Moore paint. I was very pleased with the final results. Pat, Gabe and Shane are true professionals. I will definately use Hand Painted Houses again.

I was very pleased with the whole experience. Patrick arrived on time every day along with his crew. They did a great job on prep and the final outcome was excellent. He finished the job in a timely manner and was very professional in all aspects of the job. I would recommend this company to everyone. Plus, they are very nice people!
