I started as a premed student who needed to take biology and I had already failed my first college biology class. How could I become a doctor if I couldn’t even pass a lower division biology class? We initially engaged J to tutor our younger son in high school physics and liked his approach. So we asked J to also tutor our older son who is a freshman engineering major at one of the UCs in calculus. This was in 2018 during my college time learning Calculus 2, I can say he was ahead in teaching experience.
