+ 0 moreThe work was fine, but shortly after completion of job the company closed its doors, after 25 years in service. I am writing this report because I found out that it just reopened with a different owner. So, my warranty is worthless now, a pretty big deal. Beware of Responsible Roofing: they may not be the same company that you had experience before, or that someone else reviewed.
Description of Work: Replaced flat tar/gravel roof and installed several skylights. Replace all gutters and drains.

+ -1 moreCalled to get a cost estimate on adding a second downspout to an existing first floor gutter. Was told the minimum would be $250, which was about $100 more than other companies I was talking with.
Description of Work: Work not done - minimum charge was too high.

+ 0 moreI had a good experience with this company. There was no hassle, they did a nice job cleaning up when they were finished and they are very reliable. I thought they were very competent in what they do. They were in the middle of the pack in terms of price, but they did offer me a longer guarantee than their competitors. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was that they did not paint the gutters.
Description of Work: This company put a new roof and gutters on my house. The roof is approximately eight to nine hundred square feet. They put on new shake shingles.

+ -1 moreIt took a while to get them out to the house (about four weeks) but the job took about a day when the workers arrived. They appear to have done a good job but only time will tell.
Description of Work: My roof sprung a leak. Keith from Responsible Roofing inspected the roof and found that some work that was done ten years ago was starting to fail and as a result water was getting into our attic and dripping into the dining room. He submitted an estimate for more than another roofing company we got a bid from but Responsible Roofing offered a longer warranty (ten years) and I felt better about his explanation of the situation.

+ -1 moreThey were on time. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up. Any problems we had were dealt with immediately. I had some problems with leaking tar on a rug. They paid for the professional cleaner without a hitch. Later, I found an area of some torn screening. Keith came out, on time, and told me to get it fixed and send the bill. The bill was paid in 3 days. I would use them again, if necessary. Superb people.
Description of Work: An entire new roof on our Eichler home this past November. We chose them because they put on a new roof 15 years ago. They are very responsive, and even came out when the warranty was up. That's why we used them again.
