Pete is tops, conscientious and honest. This was a complex project, mostly fixed-bid, on a hillside lot, involving custom metal work and a home theater. In spite of two costly errors by the foreman (easy to point out in hindsight but inevitable), Pete made good on everything. I would use him again for sure.
Description of Work: Whole-house remodel, working closely with architect and town planning. Followup projects included swim-current pool installation and landscape work.

Once the architect completed the drawings, Pete brought a whole crew with him to provide me with a complete estimate. The crew consisted of himself, a project manager, project foreman, sub-contractors from electrical, plumbling, sheetrock, exterior, etc. The estimate was delivered in about 3 days and I was told it purposely high so there were now surprise. This project was base on time and materials, because I was available to work along side Pete's crew. When they started they completely sealed off the rest of the house we were living in. They always reviewed with me the work to be done the next day. Whenever, a decision needed to be made, the project manager or foreman explained everything thoroughly and gave enough time to make a decision. Everyday all the workers were professional, courteous, and prompt. Everyday the work area was cleaned and the house buttoned up. The project was actually completed about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. All of the finish work, cabinet install, flooring, and painting was completed by myself
Description of Work: My kitchen remodel consisted of removing a load bearing wall, moving a sliding glass door and two windows, all of the latest earthquake requirements, rough electrical and plumbing, sheetrock and texturing, and all outside trim and stucco.

A previous contractor had attempted to address the garage door leak by removing a few inches of stucco over the top of the door, reflashing the area and then replacing the stucco. This seemed to work for a few years, but the same halo of mold eventually returned.
Description of Work: Pete Moffatt diagnosed the source of a mysterious halo of mold that ran along and above the drywall of our garage door. His crew replaced a gable vent whose trough was too narrow and small to collect all the rain water that blew in, causing the overflow to track down and collect above the garage door. The entire stucco face of the garage was removed and replaced. The work withstood recent wind and rain storms that we believe caused a second old gable vent to leak into our study, so we did not hesitate to call Pete back for a command performance.
