+ -1 moreMichael was very responsive to our phone message. We agreed to his estimate and set up a day and time for the job to be done. He called ahead to ask if he could come a bit earlier and was right on time. He completed the installation in just under an hour, and did a great job. His fee was very reasonable. We'll be hiring MCB Remodeling for other projects we have.
Description of Work: Michael mounted a flat screen TV to our bedroom wall.

+ -1 moreI was impressed by Mike's punctuality, professionalism, and responsiveness. Much more so than other contractors I had been in contact with. My job (and my budget) turned out to be better suited for a handyman because it was smaller but Mike went so far as to recommend someone who might be a better fit. If I have a major project that needs doing in the future I would definitely contact Mike again.

Description of Work: MCB took care of removal of my old kitchen, then made sure I went to good places to choose and order new appliances and granite and custom cabinets. Mike also lead me to a great designer to help draw up plans and get a good working order. He took care of even the smallest detail, and made sure it was to my liking. And he made sure the rest of my house was kept free of dirt and dust from construction. And always cleaned up daily.

+ 0 moreMike Howes (MCB Remodeling) is competent, thorough and professional in his work, taking the time to make sure each ceiling fans would circulate at its highest speed without wobbling before finishing the job. I would certainly hire him again in the future.
Description of Work: Mike Howes (MCB Remodeling) quickly figured out what was wrong with the large ceiling fan in my family room and what actually caused it to go bad (wobble). He ordered the necessary part and came back and fixed it the day the part arrived. He also spent some time examing the ceiling fan in our bedroom and determined that it hadn't been balanced correctly.Once Mike had procured a balancing kit, he came back a third time to balanced the ceiling fan in the bedroom.

+ 6 moreWe could not have had our home back on the market quickly without Michaels expertise and 24/7 efforts. Thanks to Michael we completed the work on time and under budget.
Description of Work: During the home inspection required to sell our home a bathroom problem was discovered. It seemed we had a shower pan issue. I was lucky to be referred to Michael. The bathroom had been previously remodeled with glass block and marble tiles. During the removals he found the exterior glass block was installed improperly and the project expanded significantly. A 2 week job became a 5 week job but everything was scheduled and completed promptly.
