AMAZING! Karen is a true professional! I came in with quite a blank canvas for multiple rooms, she spent the time to understand what my desires were, made a TON of recommendations, took all my feedback carefully, and helped design an amazing house! I had a very broad idea of what I wanted when I bought the house; she spent plenty of time helping me refine what I wanted, provided dozens of options for each item I was seeking, and ultimately helped me bring everything together. Detail oriented, professional, and a true master of her art.

Karen provided steady and creative, practical assistance to finishing up a fireplace project that I did not have the skills nor courage to complete on my own. It was a relatively small project that only took a couple of months of execution time on my part while only a few hours of her time. Karen visited my home, talked through what I was looking for, then provided professional guidance and tools to help me make decisions that my analytical brain clearly needed. Will definitely consult with her in the future as this was the first time I'd engaged a designer and was a bit nervous about whether it would be worth it or not. I can say definitively, it was! Thank you Karen for being easy and highly efficient to work with during a difficult time in my life.

even though i wasn't making structural changes, karens' drawings and specifications were invaluable when it came to getting the permits (she accompanied me) and when going through the bidding process...thank goodness she went with me to the vendors to choose tile and bathroom fixtures because the choices are overwhelming ... karen kept me focused and made it easy...she helped when i needed to order products and even with managing the project...she was professional and conscientious and i was able to count on her assistance from start to finish...l honestly feel her design services saved me time and money...

Karen was punctual, easy to work with, provided good ideas, knowledgeable about the carrier aspects of the job with kitchen. She was well worth the money.

Machado Designs was absolutely wonderful, I couldn't have done it without her. She's honest, totally reliable and she does an excellent job. She listens to the client, doesn't push her own taste. She was just starting out when she started working with me and I don't know if she's now charging differently. She worked for me for a year. She was never late and responded to everything I wanted and needed. She was very professional.

It was a great experience. She was so organized and took the stress of remodeling away. She listened to my needs and taste and helped me to complete a beautiful addition. My contractor said she was one of the best designers he had ever worked with. She is a great problem solver. It was a nine month job.
