+ 0 moreGary and I met to discuss what I wanted, and he then emailed preliminary drawings and elevations that we discussed in more detail. He had many good ideas that we incorporated into the design. After a few iterations, we agree on exactly what he would build. He gave me a thorough estimate, including a payment schedule. He completed the job on time and on budget, and brought in top-quality people to stain and seal the cabinets, and to fabricate the granite countertops, mantle, hearth, and fireplace surround. I highly recommend Gary and GW Woodworking for all cabinetry needs. He is a former wood boat builder and editor of Fine Woodworking magazine, and as you would suspect, his attention to detail is superb.
Description of Work: Gary designed, built, and installed all the cabinets for a complete kitchen remodel. He also designed, built, and installed an entire wall of cabinets and shelves that surround our family room fireplace, and a built-in window seat with speaker-cloth panels to house the sub-woofer. His cabinets are exquisite, furniture-quality pieces that provide specialized storage for our exact needs.
