Description of Work: The provider failed to respond to several calls requesting his services. The provider did not even acknowledge the calls or gave a reason for not being able to provide the requested service. The services (sewerline cleaning) were eventually performed by He-man Plumbing (Excellent!).

Description of Work: The outside spigot sprung a big leak, and turning off the water to the house for the weekend was not a very good option. They came out that day to take care of the problem.

Description of Work: Replaced a personal shower hose and attempted to fix a leaking faucet.

Description of Work: They unclogged a toilet in one of my bathrooms. We had snaked it ourselves numerous times to no avail.

Description of Work: We had all the of the toilets in our house replaced with power flush units.

Description of Work: Daves Custom Plumbing has done several projects for me including water heater replacement, sewer and drain replacement, water main replacement. Out of four projects I had trouble with three. Dave Custom Plumbing has ok employees but the the owners/management have no idea of how to satisfy a customer. The company was very unprofessional when it comes to customer service, being on time, and customer treatment. Do not hire this company unless you want to end up in court.

Description of Work: Found main sewer stoppage. Cabled line clear. Removed roots. Arrived very promptly. Very courteous. I would definitely use this business again.

Description of Work: I was exploring remodelling the laundry in my garage (as part of a broad garage remodel). Dave came, gave me a quote ($2k), and he helpfully suggested an tankless hot water system ($4k) to in order to create extra room and minimize overflow piping (current piping is not code compliant).

Description of Work: Our water was backing up and the toilets were not draining in 2 restrooms. We've used Dave several times in the past for his knowledgeable employees and excellent customer service. When Mike came out he assessed our plumbing issue, and came to the conclusion that our sump pump had quit working on us. Along with that, our sewer line was old and hadn't been replaced since the house was built in 1947. Needless to say, we needed to replace it fast or we would continue to see drainage problems throughout the house. After agreeing on the services to be performed for the price that was quoted, we signed the proposal and scheduled work to begin the following Monday. They came out when they said they would, suited and ready to work. They were efficient, communicative and very knowledgeable. The price was very competitive and they offered several ways to cut costs throughout our plumbing dilemma. Mike and the guys at Dave's Custom Plumbing did a wonderful job, and I will call them for all my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I found Dave's when when they left a door hanger at my house. It had a $20 off coupon for Insinkerator installations. Coincidentally, my garbage disposal had been buzzing and humming over the past couple of months. After sticking tongs, pliers and a broom down their, I and not fixing the problem I decided to call a professional before it died completely. When I called, the woman who answer was very professional and helpful. She asked me questions about the problem and got my contact info. Once that was complete we scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out the next day. I was in no rush. He came in between the 2 hour window the operator gave me and called when he was on the way. Once there, he looked at the garbage disposal and found that the impellers broke and the disposal was out of warranty. He gave me 3 quotes one to install a new ISE PRO XL Evolution Pro (1 HP) which including labor and material would come up to around $670 flat rate. The second option was for me to get the garbage disposal on my own, and he would only charge for his labor $270. The 3rd option was to install a garbage disposal of lesser quality and value. I am all for quality material so I chose the second option thinking it would be the most economical out of the last 2 options. I ordered the disposal at faucetdirect.com for $399.16. It came 9 days later. I called Mike to come back out and while he was getting ready to install he noticed I was missing the connector kit. He told me he could go pick it up, but like everything else it would cost a little extra to run back to the supply house and pick it up and then install it. I didn't want to go through the headache of reordering it on line or getting the wrong part so I agreed. Realizing now that I should have just had him get the disposal and install everything himself. So once he got the connector kit, he installed the garbage disposal and hauled away the old one. While there, I asked him to check a leak at my kitchen faucet. He did it...no questions asked. He spent 1 hour 30 minutes there and the total came up to $343 including the $20 off coupon. What was most impressive was he took the time to explain the costs before he started work. He really knows what he is doing. I have recommended him to all my friends. The only thing I would do differently is to let him get the parts and installed them himself from the beginning. He told me his supplier would have given it to them at a discount. I think I ended up paying more getting the item myself in effort and time, than it would have been for him to get it all. Plus they would have warrantied the garbage disposal if it was their own.
