Our experience with CertaPro was positive from beginning to end. An appointment for a bid was set up within a couple of days of my initial contact. Dan came to our home and explained in detail what their services would entail. We had a written bid within about 2 hours after he left. We needed to have some repair work done to some siding, and Dan was very helpful in recommending a contractor to do the work. Our job was scheduled promptly and Ashley, from Dan's office, kept in contact with us regarding coordinating our repair work with the painting crew. She and Dan always replied to my e malls or phone calls very promptly. Our painting was led by Mario. I cannot really say enough good things about my experience with him. I was struggling a bit with color choices and he was MORE than patient in helping me work to a solution. He actually painted different sections of the house in body and trim combinations so I could see what it looked like on the house -- rather than try to determine color from a small swatch. He also was excellent in recommending different ways to accent with trim colors. The result was -- our home looks exactly how I wanted it to be. The crew was prompt, polite, took good care of our plants and landscaping. Each day they cleaned up before they left. When the project was complete, they helped us move planters and patio furniture back into place. They took great pride in their work -- and it definitely shows! I would definitely recommend Dan and his team from CertaPro Painters.

We had our entire house painted inside. Dan and his team were very professional. The guys showed up early every day and worked very hard. They stayed in contact with me on a daily basis (sometimes every few hours). They answered our questions and kept us updated on the progress of their work. It was a great experience and our house looks wonderful.

Certa Pro painted the interior of my 850 sq ft, 2 bedroom 1 bath rental home while occupied by tenants. I received quotes from three painting companies: CertaPro was in the middle. I had previously used the painter with the lowest bid but their work was sloppy (you get what you pay for). Due to improvements and repairs made on the unit there was a lot of prep work needed, including removal of peeling paint in two rooms, before they could start painting. The two painters showed up on time, were very professional and cleaned up each day. They gladly took care of a few touch ups that I requested and even helped me with a few minor things that my handyman missed. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and the price for the amount of work done. Also, Dan was very responsive at returning phone calls. I plan to use them to paint my house.

The Certa Pro Painters of Silicon Valley did a great job. They kept the job site neat and clean and, at the end of the day, work tools and paint were stored in a safe manner out of the path of foot traffic. The painters communicated with us at the beginning, during and at the end of the day to let us know how they were progressing, when they were going for lunch and when they were returning. They were on time, efficient and reliable. I'm impressed with their work ethic of doing it well and doing it right. There were a few areas for touchup which they came back to do. For future paint jobs I would get samples of the colors used and have it written down in the contract. A different shade of white was used for the trim for the house from what was selected. The white used is fine but the color that had been originally selected was not written down in the contract we received. The house does look great and we have received compliments from neighbors. Certa Pro Painters of Silicon Valley have been a good company to work with from the office staff, the owner, Dan, and the painters themselves. They provide a professional, well-run business for those needing painting services.

We had a great experience with CertaPro. The owner, Dan, came to our house personally to provide a detailed estimate. He spent about an hour with us explaining the process his company uses, as well as the items his quote would cover. We were choosing several different paint colors for the interior, which was made easier since CertaPro Silicon Valley includes a 1-hr paint consultation with an interior designer at no extra charge. This was extremely helpful. Also, we were able to coordinate ordering paint samples with the office manager, and simply collected them (at no cost) from the paint store. When we made our final selections, we just emailed the office manager who coordinated the order with the paint store and the painters brought the paints with them on the day of service. A few days before the job started, we realized we needed two other areas to be painted. CertaPro accommodated the additions on the same day and charged us a reasonable hourly rate. We were very pleased with the company and would use them again.

We bought the Angie's List Big Deal for 8 hours of painting with two painters. They accomplished more than we had hoped for and did an amazing job. They were on time, courteous, clean, and professional. The painting crew was top notch, as well as the office staff. Overall an exceptional experience.

Dan was very responsive from the start. He gave a very detailed quote that included costs broken down per room, for 1 coat vs 2 coats, accent walls, etc. His crew, Pedro Lopez (foreman) and Armando Sanchez (painter) were on time every day, did a thorough job of corners, baseboards, and getting straight lines. They were clean, respectful of our property, and cheerful to talk to. They listened to any touch ups we requested and did them promptly and without complaint. Overall, we're very satisfied with Dan and his team's professionalism and great results. Will recommend them again to friends.

Dan Ford, the owner and General Manager of CertaPro Painters came out and gave me an estimate, and was able to get me on the schedule in the same week he gave me the estimate. He was able to pull a crew together on a very short notice in order for us to get oru house painted and get ready for an open house. He bent over backward to accomodate us. The job that was done by his crew was stellar, and I would defniitely recommend them to all my friends and anyone who reads Angie's List!

I think they did a good job, and I found them to responsive to issues. They did have to come back out to fix some areas that were pealing, but other than that everything went smoothly.

We received bids from five companies and went with the very detailed and promptly provided bid made by Dan Ford of CertaPro Painters. Although, the price was in the middle of the five bids we received, Dan's breakdown of price per room for one coat with a separate breakdown for two coats in case any of the rooms needed two coats (since we were using the same colors we already had on the walls we ended up not needing two coats) was a major point in our selection of his company. CertaPro's foreman, Fernando, and painter, Oscar, were prompt every day, professional, efficient and pleasant to have working in our home. Clean-up was done at the end of each day so that we could continue living in the house during this work. Our only complaint would be that very little taping was done and there were just a few small areas where paint needed to be cleaned up along edges of baseboards. To the company's credit, they will be returning to take care of those couple of very small areas we haven't already cleaned up. Also, there are a few spots on the woodwork where paint dripped and wasn't smoothed out and where sanding should have been done but wasn't; overall, however, we are pleased with the job done. We will be using CertaPro again soon for the painting of the exterior of our house.

We were very pleased with CertaPro Painters of Silicon Valley. All work was performed to a high standard. Their estimate of both cost and time were accurate. They were also very helpful in accommodating special requests. I strongly recommend CertaPro.

We decided to paint the inside of the house, so we joined Angie's list and asked for recommendations. CertaPro Painting was the only respondent. The salesman showed up at the house and we discussed what we wanted done. During the process, we asked about someone to refinish the cabinets and that was added in. A color coordinator showed up and we went over the colors to use in each room. The painters showed up on time and the work was completed in 8 days.

It was a bit of a hassle to get the job started, and the original crew lacked experience. We also had them refinish a door, but the refinishing was so poor that we decided to purchase a new door entirely. The painting work was good however.

I would recommend double checking the work as I have located some areas where the painting is sloppy. They also didn't provide a sampling of the color before proceeding with the job.

Everything went well. They did a few things I was suprised about that we hadn't even discussed such as some additional things in the backyard as well as the foundation. I would use them again.
