It went excellent.
Description of Work: They stained one side and painted the other side of my door and painted an exterior door. The person painting the exterior, I think, was an apprentice or something along those lines because he painted all the weather stripping on the door.

Description of Work: Complete interior painting. Price was similar and in some cases lower than the competition. They were prompt, clean and efficient. The job took a whole week and included some crack and texture repair. I had to repeat a few requests - but I think that is to be expected with a job of this size. I'm satisfied that they delivered the high quality of work I expected.

It went very well. Dan Fod is a real professional. I would definitely use his services in the future. The reason I selected another contractor we contacted through Angie's List is that the other contractor covered all work himself as opposed to referring us to another individual who would handle the trim repair.

The job was completed within the contractual boundaries. The painting team was professional and helpful with details that the ordinary homeowner (a non-painter) would not have a clue of how to determine the consequence(s) of a bad decision. Overall a very good experience. Thank you CertaPro
Description of Work: First meeting was with the franchise owner Dan who came and send a estimate (e-mail) by the end of the day. He also left a folder with information about the CertaPro painting experience and other vital paperwork that is important to look over when choosing a professional. A few days later after evaluating the bids, we gave the go ahead. At this time took up the offer to have a color consultant come to the house (at no charge) to help make the choosing of the paint colors somewhat easier. Such a nice extra touch and well worth it! Next the date was scheduled and the process began. A little background on the job: This old house was build in the 1950's and had been neglected for over a decade and a half. The painting team ( Mario and Juan) had to work extra smart to prepare it for the treatment that was to bring it back to a healthy and vibrant condition. Once the preparation work was done (which took most of the hours allotted for the job) they worked their painting expertise magic. The team started out by pressure washing cleaning and scraping 1 primer coat 1 top coat of paint clean up The house is nice to look at again and we have peace of mind that it ready for whatever weather comes .

We did not use them. It was a free estimate. We were pretty selective until we actually received estimates. We did look at several sources and it just came down to their price as it was pretty significantly higher than any of the other quotes we received. It wasn't their service. They were friendly but I just didn't use them because their price was too high. Their interactions were fine and they came when they were supposed to come. Their quote was $3300 and the quote we ended up going with was $2400 so we did not choose the least expensive quote.
Description of Work: CertaPro Painters of Silicon Valley CA gave us an estimate six weeks ago to paint the entire interior of our house.

As stated, we never performed any work for this client, only provided an estimate. The estimate was provided to the client the same day, in a timely manner. As stated, she'd use us again for an estimate, we were friendly, and the interaction was fine, although the quote was too high for her budget. Just not sure how this experience translates into a D rating.

I had a kind of mixed result. They did a real good job. I have a pergola and they put a lot of time and effort into that and that came out really good. The exterior of the house was very good, but windows were not too good on details. I have a lot of old windows and they could have done a better job. I would use them again in the future.

we got three bids for the project and decided to go with CertaPro based on how responsive they were providing us with a detailed estimate and answering any questions that came up before we went ahead. We felt that they managed the job very well, with a crew of four carrying out the stripping and prep work, then two or three carrying out the painting itself. The job was completed to a high standard in just three days, and they were very particular about keeping the place tidy while they were not working to minimize disruption to the occupants. We are very happy with the results and would definitely hire them again.
