Palmdale Glass and Mirror Co.

We contacted several different companies and contractors while looking for somebody to replace our old, barely working sliding glass door with a set of nice French doors. Out of all the places we contacted either by phone or by going to their shop if they had one, Palmdale Glass ended up being the one for us. They don't have a huge showroom, but it is laid out nicely and has a good selection of doors and windows. Mark was very helpful and really took time to talk with me about the different types of doors available (sliding, French, vinyl, fiberglass, wood, etc..), he also took time to talk to me about windows even though I wasn't shopping for them at that time, I just made a remark that at some point in the future we would probably be looking to replace our old windows. When we decided which door we wanted and ordered it, everything happened on time and without any problems. It took about 4 weeks for the doors to arrive from the factory, which was actually less time than the 5-6 weeks that we were quoted when we ordered them, so that was a bonus! We scheduled the install for the day after the door was due to arrive in their shop. The contractors that work with the store arrived on the morning that we had scheduled and installed the door in about 6 hours. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves before they left, and the stucco guy came a few days later to finish up the job. Having said all that, I do have a few minor complaints. They are not so great at calling to follow up on things. This isn't a huge issue, because we could always call them and get an answer, but if you expect constant phone calls with updates and scheduling, you may be a bit disappointed. Also, and I realize that this is more of a personal thing really, I don't like their hours of operation. In order to get the ball rolling I had to take a day off work to visit the showroom. I realize that their primary customers are probably contractors rather than homeowners, and they are not the only business to have these types of hours, but it is a bit of an inconvenience for a regular person looking for doors or windows, even a half day on Saturday would have been nice, but it all worked out so all in all it wasn't a deal breaker. Everything is finished, we are very happy with the end result, and we will definitely go back when it is time to start replacing our old windows without question.

Excellent! We ordered 3 Milgard replacement windows. Two were 70 inches by 47 inches. One was 58 inchess by 38.5 inches. The new windows fit perfectly. Bobby the installer was very quick, polite and professional. They look even better than we had hoped. We are highly satisfied.

The price was great, fairly accommodating. We did have a small issue right before the big rain storm, two of the windows had leaks, they did respond very quickly though and came out that day during a break in the storm and were able to identify the problem and fixed it.

Called and e-mailed several window replacement services. Palmdale Glass was the first to call on the phone, Others respondents did not have interest because they said they would not come out for a single widow replacement,

They are excellent. I called them and the next day they came out to do the work. Their prices are good.

I liked the two workers that came. They were good! The problem is that they need to work for a different company and this company should not be in business!
