The guys from Brooke's Garage door came over and replaced the sensors for the garage door which had failed. They checked the tension of the spring and lubricated the wheels of the door as a bonus. I would completely recommend them to anyone.

I called Brookes Garage Doors on a Wednesday morning at 9AM and they were at our rental home by 10:30AM the same day. We had used another company for spring replacement and tune-up a few years ago at another home and were charged almost $500 by a technician who was rude and sloppy. The Brooke's technician (David) was helpful and friendly - and the charge was $155. So far the door is working great and I was thrilled with the price, the quick response and, especially, the quietly competent service. We have a garage door at another home that needs work and will be calling again soon.

I was looking to have my old wood doors replaced with new insulated metal roll up garage doors and garage door openers. I was also looking to have the trim on my house painted. I had a few companies give me bids for the separate jobs. The door bids were a little higher than I wanted to spend. The paint bids, one was very high and one was given to me written on a business card. I looked in the local phone book and saw an ad for Brooke's Garage Doors and Painting. Jimmy from Brooke's came out and gave me a verbal quote then a few hours later emailed me a written quote. To my surprise his quote came in under all the other quotes, I will let you know his quote for the 16 foot and the 8 foot garage doors with the two Lift Master garage door openers and the painting of the trim and patio cover. Also repair to the patio cover, pressure wash, caulking, removing the chicken wire on the 2nd story eaves where the pigeons got into the old fix and replacing it after the paint was dry ( I supplied the wire). His price for the entire job (paint and doors with openers) was less than one of the quotes just to paint the trim on my house. The garage doors and openers were finished in a matter of hours and work great. The prep work and painting took 5 days. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Jimmy came back after the 5 days to walk through the finished job. I pointed out a couple of the fixes I saw. The fixes were taken care of not the next day but the day after. The fixes were made to my liking. Jimmy came back in a couple of days for a look see and he didn't like the fix as much as did. He is sending back a person to fix what I think is a good job. I thought I was a picky it needs to be perfect person. I'm very happy with the work preformed and the products purchased. Mike B.
