Date is approximate - My husband met and dealt with contacting them. Said all went well. He had contacted another company that was unable to provide same day service so my husband contacted Antelope Valley Plumbing. They came out and assessed the situation, recommended replacement. They did have to go back to their warehouse to pick up the replacement unit, but did so the same day. They took care of all the required paperwork. We were without hot water for only a day.

In February, my handyman contacted AV Plumbing for an estimate at a property I own. Below is my response to to a and quot;notice of attempt to collect a debtand quot; that I just received from a collection agency by AV Plumbing. To All Parties Involved, We hereby dispute the validity of this attempt to collect a debt. My local handyman Josh did call for an estimate, but there was no work done by AV Plumbing, and they did NOT mention there would be a “trip charge” regardless of if we decided to hire them or not. The owner of AV plumbing did say, “who would be responsible for the charges”. But naturally we assumed that meant IF WE HIRED THEM. He did not give us any clue that there would be a charge regardless of whether they did any work or not. This was either an error made by the owner (not mentioning a trip charge), or it is their practice to not be clear. In either case, we will NOT pay this charge without being ordered to by a judge in small claims court. When the plumber who arrived at the house for the estimate explained that there was in fact a trip charge, I asked to speak with the owner of AV Plumbing. When he called me he immediately started yelling and cussing at me. I tried to explain my position, but with his yelling, I’m not even sure he heard what I was trying to say. Afterwards the owner of AV Plumbing called my handyman and said he would like to “meet him in a parking lot somewhere”. Now that I’ve received this collection notice, its clear that he is just trying to “bully or intimidate”. I would be happy to resolve this in Small Claims Court if necessary, but (If after checking my credit report) I find that there has been any negative reporting over this matter, I will take appropriate legal action against both AV Plumbing and Credit Bureau Of Lancaster and Palmdale. I would have to say that this is a prime example of a company that is over charging people. They are they reason nobody trusts contractors. I will be filing a lawsuit against them for the phone call I received. I have never heard that language used and I can't wait to see his face when he is served papers.

The work that was expected was a simple drain opening. The work that had to be done was a complete tiolet replacement. Great experience even though extra work needed.

(2) plumbers came over ready to work. Very punctual. Gave estimate. Negotiated, approved lower estimate. Price was workable but not a huge bargain. Worked fast and steady. Very courtious, with professional and affable demeanor. Completed jobs in two hours in a very satisfactory manner. Will absolutely use their services again.

I highly recommend them. They were efficient and courteous. I think their price is average.

I called Antelope Valley Plumbing and the lady who answered the phone was very knowledgable. I told her what was was happening with my plumbing and she said it sounded like my pressure regulator was going out. She quoted me a price over the phone, which I thought was a fair price, so I asked her to send someone out for me and I was given a same day appointment. The plumber arrived on time, completely ready to do the work. First he checked the pressure and showed me on his guage that my pressure was at 100. He told me I definitely needed a pressure regulator and went to his truck and pulled out a brand new one. When he started digging in my flowerbed I noticed he was being very careful about how he was digging, I had no idea there was a pressure regulator there! I just couldn't believe how knowledgeable he was. So he dug it all out, put in the new part and put everything back the way he found it. There were no suprises when he handed me the final bill, it was for exactly what was quoted over the phone. It took him a few hours to complete the job and when he left everyhting was cleaned up and it was like he was never there. He also really made sure that everything was working good before he left. I thanked him and told him he would definitely be hearing from me again in the future. I will definitely be using Antelope Valley Plumbing again. They were fast, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and best of all honest.
