Workers were late or no-shows, poor communication with contractor who was seldom on the job, false promises about date of completion. During the last scheduled week, the contractor said he could not complete the job and subtracted an arbitrary amount from his bill. Clearly, he had underbid the project and was caught up in his own ineptness. A job that should have taken three weeks took two and a half months - and I had to call in my own subs to finish the job. There was no assumption of responsibility, either, as father and son seemed to battle with each other about when work would be performed. Though it was incredibly stressful and life-interrupting, the quality of the work was well above average. However, it was not worth the stress. I would not recommend these people. They were out of their league with this project.
