CATHEDRAL CITY AIR COND & HTG

We are located in Palm Springs, CA so it is very hot at 115 degrees. The provider was understandably very busy and arrived at 9:00 PM on a Saturday night. My air conditioner is outside on the patio and it was already dark outside. The provider said that the air conditioner required additional Free-On and that would correct the problem. By the next morning, the fan had not stopped running all night and the temperature seemed to be getting hotter. By 9:00 AM the temperature was at 88 degrees, by noon it was 93. When I called Fidelity Home Warranty, they would try to contact the provider but they may not respond as it was a Sunday. I called a second time and indicated that it was fast becoming an emergency situation. I also called the provider twice and left messages but there was no response from them.At 5:00 Pm the temperature in the condo was 103 degrees. By 9:00 PM that evening, Best in the West Electric came to the rescue and fixed the problem. They fixed the grounded wire at the condenser and replaced the bad transformer and circuit board. If you need your air conditioner fixed, call Best in the West and ask for Mike. Don't even bother with Cathedral City air Conditioning and Heating.

Installed an air conditioner and air conditioner platform "cap" The cap keeps the water out of the house from under the air conditioner. It was very light weight sheet metal and rusted through almost immediately. They tried to fix it quick with roofing tar on the rust holes. Water continued to come through each rain. Material and installation is sub standard to put it kindly. Recent heavy rain put more water in the house and they won't fix it without charge since at this point its been over the 1yr. warranty on parts and labor. A cap like this I have been told should last twenty years (the old one did) Their estimate before the work began reads..." 100% satisfaction guarantee" and "Installation and workmanship Guaranteed." and "performance guaranteed." It was a botched job from the start, destined to fail and they lack the integrity to make it right. I now have s pent $5000 with them and get rain in the house. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE!!!!!
